This video is definitely helpful and informative. I would recommend that this be split into two videos with all the parts out of the box. It's alot crammed in really fast. This way critical install sections can get the attention it needs.

I want a 2015+ wrx so badly. I'm sick of my slow Civic Si lol I love everything about these cars. I will have one hopefully at the end of the year or early next year. You guys make some great products also.

Is it irrelevant if i change my charge pipe then keep the intake and intercooler stock?

I am having a boost leak issue after installing this kit, I have double checked my clamps. Any other advice on what I could have done wrong? I did reuse stock rubber gasket on the charge pipe just because it looked in great shape.

What is the size of the spacer on the driver side, my kit did not come with one and the tmic is hitting against the clutch slave cylinder. I figure it would be easier/quicker to get one from home depot or something.

Hey Mishimoto I am super interested in getting you intercooler however I am worried that it will not be compatible with the stage 2 boomba oil catch can I have installed because your intercooler changes the location of the mount on the passenger side. Any thoughts ??? Also I want to add the perrin strut brace and the boomba BPV blow off valve would this be a problem ?

Hello Antonio. Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, we do not conduct testing with other companies parts. So we would not be able to confirm if our items are compatible with your current set up. I would suggest watching the installation video in its entirety, and paying close attention to the steps. Mishimoto Automotive, can I keep my front strut bar if decide to install your TMIC?

Hey DJ Chris Argueta. Our test vehicle did not come equipped with a strut bar so I would not be able to fully confirm fitment. My perrin strut bar had to go. The TMIC from mishimoto is beefy and goes back pretty far blocking where it would normally sit.

A front-mount setup will always be better for power but will require more modification to install.

This is listed as not needing a tune on your website. What happens if one does not time after installing these parts? Do you still get colder intake temperatures?

While you will still see the lower intake temperature from the intercooler you will not see major differences in power until the car is tuned for the intercooler.

You can run a tmic on stock tune.

I wouldn't, especially with a new charge pipe. I'm sure you can drive it a short distance, but I wouldn't go to far. Also, who puts a upgraded tmic on a stock car?

Showing my noob knowledge but what are the "tmic" and "charge pipe" you speak of? What is their function?

TMIC is is 'top mount intercooler. The charge pipe is the pipe that's connected to the intercooler piping and intakemanifold. Subaru wrxs are finicky with mods and no tune to support them.

The charge pipe runs from the TMIC to the Turbo, not the manifold.
