Like many groups, their discography tells a story. The overall theme is a quest to find your treasure which is really the journey to find and reconcile all the parts of yourself. Part of the journey is discarding the roles society tells you you must be if it interferes with who you really are. So listening to and watching their mvs in chronological order helps when it comes to understanding the mvs. Their first release was in intro to who they are. Their second release, in particular 'Say My Name' was about how they became who they are (who their characters are). It's an epic tale. Also, I hope you saw the end of this video after you stopped it (it wasnt over).

And ATEEZ doesnt just sing or dance, their "Treasure" series of albums is actually a story! Thats why you saw two versions of them (one dressed as the hala hala era and another dressed "normally"). The version that has the hala hala style is known as "fake Ateez" and represents a darker, alter ego that is fed by the doubts and negativity or social expectations in the world. Their concepts are absolutely amazing and i cant wait to see you react to more of their videos!!!

I'm so happy that you watch both the dance practice and the MV~ I've been listening to this song for more than 3 months now, but it's always nice to hear comments from someone who's listening to it for the first time, or picks up on different details. It just makes me appreciate the song even more. If you haven't already watched it, there is a video of Ateez dancing to one of their b-sides, WIN, during their Seoul concert back in February. They also performed this song on Music Bank. I would love to get your reaction to the song and choreo!

Their practice room is relatively small for their choreography most of the time so they don’t expand as much.... but give them a stage and they use it to its full potential.... these guys have crazy stage presence... their mvs are 10/10 their dance practice are 10/10 but their live performances are 100/10 these guys were all born to be in stage it’s their natural habitat.... for example their MAMA performance a lot of people weren’t expecting anything from them they were just an unknown rookie group..... but they took that stage over like it was theirs.... one of the most talked about MAMA 2019 performances

I totally agree that Answer is one of Ateez's less demanding choreographs but their main comeback (& where I think most of their effort went into) was Wonderland. Definitely think you should check that out & like every other of their comebacks cause they're amazing dancers)

One in their Seoul Concert and one is during Music Bank) or their predebut performances when they were still called KQ Fellaz! There's three performances, a solo of one of their main dancers, and a cover of growl by exo! *also Pirate King, Say My Name and Treasure.

All Albums are connected, answer is the final song of the treasureserie. In the mv there are hints of pirate king, treasure, say my name, and so on. They have fought with there inner selfs, the suicid Squad and in the end, they give a toast to them and acept them. Its a realy good story.

I love your reactions, especially to Ateez (they r one of my faves) and I agree with you, is like they aren't totally in sinc or doing the move exactly the same (cus each of them have their own way of interpreting the choreo) but they still come together as a group and that's what I really like about them, that they are really good as a group but the members still have their personal style of dancing

the sad noise I let out because Jeff didn't see the end of answer. It's okay, also yes!! Do look into them more ^^. These boys are chaotic as hell but also polite. I think you might enjoy Wonderland or Pirate King. Pirate King was their debut song along with Treasure (both have MVs, Pirate King has a dance practice but I'm not too sure about treasure.) Wonderland was their comeback right before answer and it's definitely more "hype." It sounds like a music track that'd be played over a fight scene. Oh, I'd also recommend their MAMA performance dance practice bc that was an insane composition of music and other elements. They do have a light hearted era, only Wave has a dance practice though (several in fact.) Wave and Illusion are perfect summer songs, the b-sides on all their albums are amazing as well ^^. Haha sorry this comment got long, I just love ATEEZ a lot and it's been a joy to watch them grow thus far.

I have literally been rechecking your channel every day for new Ateez reactions!! Omg!!! It seems like you are a Seonghwa bias. You should seem him with white blonde hair in Say my Name ;) He is a wholeee assss snackkyyy snack there! If you stan Ateez they have one of the coolest story lines ever. You reacted to Hala Hala first so I am glad you were able too see Ateez with black hats. In Hala Hala black hat ateez are "dark evil" ateez. Good ateez are trying to separate the darkness from themselves, but throughout their mvs and story line, they realize they cannot, because dark ateez also are apart of them, as no one is perfect and has a little darkness inside of them. So Answer is basically good ateez finally accepting dark ateez as apart of themselves which is why you see them toasting to each other at the table!! You should do Say my Name or even their debut Pirate King!! Wonderland is also a POWER performance video if you liked Hala Hala you would love Wonderland.

This is definitely an anthem. So Ateez has been around for a little over a year as a debuted group and this song is supposed to be the culmination of their career in that 1st year. They have been using a pirate concept throughout and their title tracks have been telling the stories of searching for treasure, but in the end they find the Answer to whatever they were looking for. This MV has a lot of call backs to their previous MVs. And it almost feels kind of prophetic imo?? Because ateez started from nothing and this concept seems very intentional, it was meant to be carried out for a while. However no one could predict how big they would get and how much international interest they would achieve. So to have something like Answer planned far in advance and then to actually watch this group journey into a huge success is really incredible. They really grew into Answer so well and I think it's like an incredible foresite to see this song come to fruition in this way. Because everything they have been working towards builds up in such a beautiful way to Answer, which feels very nostalgic in both the song and the choreo, paying homage to their hard work. But as much as the song wraps up this first year of their career (in which they've accomplished a whole lot for a rookie group, they are monster rookies!) it also continues this expectant and hopeful feeling of things to come. When I think of this song, it feels like a sunrise to me, and I think that power and expectation for a new day is captured well in the choreo too! It's an anthem that says "look at how far we have come and look how much we've learned. Now let's push forward even harder!"

Something I've always admired about ateez is their individuality in their performace. Instead of all of them doing the moves in the exact same way, they combine all their individual dancing styles to perform together as true to themselves as they can be. If you look at their predebut performance videos you can see they are very capable of being synchronized. But to them being perfectly in sync doesn't entail an great performance. They put so much work into their aspects of performances like facial expressions and just the way they execute moves is so different when you compare them side by side. It's really refreshing to see this kind of group and its one of the many reasons I love them so much. They all have something unique to bring to the stage. I really look forward to seeing more of your reactions to them.
