honestly, kai wearing crop top never fails to amaze us 😂

those jump turns he was doing with his feet together are called “tour en l’air”! one thing I noticed about Kai is that when he does pirouettes, he always tends to over cross his passé. I’m not sure whether that’s how he was taught or if it’s just a habit he has, but it’s interesting because I feel like it would be harder to turn since overcrossing the passé would shift your body’s center of balance. however he always seems to turn great! he has really amazing doubles, triples, and quadruples. I love seeing idols utilize those fundamental skills that help shaped dance to be the way it is today!

Kai dance is always draws the eyes. He dance through all his body face expression too. Another artist I would like to recommend is Lay. He is self produce. His first solo is Sheep but I also recommended "what you need" and "Namanana" for his voice I love Monodrama and his Christmas winter song.

Kai is the only dancer that can make me cry just by a movement of his hand. I almost never cry, but I’m always at the edge of tears when I watch him dancing, it’s just so sadly beautiful...

I was lucky enough to witness this in person (and all his other solo performances during their concerts). it's really hard not to be captivated by him even if the whole group is performing right in front of your eyes. the way he moves is so sharp and smooth at the same time. I remember during one of their concerts here in my country, he was injured and was unable to perform most of the songs, he looked so sad and he almost cried when they were talking to the audience because he felt sorry to the fans for not being able to perform. he is so passionate about dancing that it really breaks him if he can't perform :(

I watched it live years ago but this perf STILL leave me breathless everytime. Kai is incomparable, not so many idols dance with these kind of techniques and that’s what makes him unique and special. Plus he dances wih so much emotion which makes his perf more remarkable. 😫

With Kai although I was an EXO fan for many years I wasn't sure why they called him "The idol of idols" until I searched him individually. In EXO he blends really well with the rest of the members, but when he's alone you can actually get blinded by his charisma! Along with great technique, his body is actually the perfect type for classical dance and the most impressive thing is that when he dances, it's like he does it for himself but at the same time he's aware that people are entertained by him!

jeff malfunctioning bcz of Kai. hehehe. btw, he helped choreograph this. what amazes me is that in figure skating, they have momentum from the ice, they have speed already, then brace themselves before going into the jump and the skates edge provide extra elevation too for them to jump high and do multiple, faster turns but Kai did the triple with minimum external momentum relying almost completely on his lower body strength. just an observation

he also has other concert solo dances like spoiler and confession also SUPER GOOD you would love them

This was choregraphed by Mihawkback(Baek Gu Young), BeatburgerJae(Shim Jaewon) and prepix_ill Mihawk and Baetburger practically raised Kai. When this three are together the results are always a masterpiece.

Usually when i watch other performers reactions i tend to skip some since they only keep saying that what the artist is doing is hard, very difficult or smooth and beautiful. I’m not a performer, I don’t usually know what is it that’s supposed to be easy or difficult, so i really really appreciate and love how you explain things to us. This is the reaction where we could learn something and understand the artists’ talents more. Love you so much! 💕

i really feel like you should watch "Contemporary dance by kai of exo" by W korea. it's really beautiful to look at and i think you'll really like looking at the tiny, specific movements that really make the performance interesting

To be honest kai is more of a performer than a dancer. The way he uses his facial expressions and dancing to express the emotions of the song is what makes him stand out. Because if we talk about technique a lot of dancers can do that. But kai tells u a story through his dance and facial expressions which in my opinion is more difficult than just executing the moves. The cherry on top is that he happens to be one of the best dancers too

I really love ICU stages, many of them has many story behind them. Like when he cried because he made a mistake in the dance ( I guess his stage in hongkong) he is a perfectionist in deed. Also once the button of his pants flew while he was dancing because of his aggressiveness I guess😂😂

Hehehe! I didn’t even bother mentioning these cuz I knew you’d find them 😁 I was noticing the great deal of jazz too. Funny story: I’ve seen him live but sadly can’t remember much of his performance, because the only thing I can remember VIVIDLY was how fast he runs! (Well...that and all the frisbees they started whipping into the audience flying at my head...as if they were aiming for it or something 😅 I didn’t need a frisbee so the young ladies around me were happy to score them) But for real!!! He flashed in front of my eyes & ran to center arena so fast I think my eyes actually DID get sucked outta their sockets & left hanging there momentarily! And all I could think was “NOOO!!! If he went down off that ramp at THAT speed...::!!!” (All my years of safety & first aid training talking) This is why I enjoy your reactions cuz you can focus & see all the things I miss while being distracted.

Jongin is an amazing performer, you just feel emerged when he's performing on stage. There some other solo stages like Deep Breath, his solo for the closing ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games, Confession and Spoiler. I HIGHLY recommend all of them. Also if you want to check a different kind of style or technic you can look for LAY and his dance practices, I would recommend Honey or Sheep, but all of his performances are great.

it's so strange like I have seen many dancers with excellent technique but kai still stands out, he sucks you in with every move and expression. Someone once said how Kai becomes the personification of dance, the music and the beats itself. Like he's everything. He empties himself and lets all that fill him up and it's just hypnotic.

One time Kai said in a show (I think), that the beat is important, and you have to dance to every beat or according to the beat of the song.
