I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. Jungwon did taekwondo professionally for 8 years before joining I-land/Enhypen, that's why he can do all the acrobatic tricks and stuff

heeseung is the type of center who make the whole group look good. he makes the group look more powerful, gives a great energy being the center, expresses the choreo well and make it looks dynamic. he makes the balance of the group looks so good

i feel like crying when someone professional in dancing appreciate Jake's growth bc i remember the backlash he received when he debuted..ppl underestimated him a LOT until now actually... they dont see how big his improvement is, its really scary tbh. he joined iland and doesn't know singing or dancing and a year later, he's showing us he deserve to be called icon of growth and stage genius. in live performances, he knows how to play with the camera and charm the audience. 12:26 So, thank you Jeff for noticing his growth. that's why i rlly love watching ur reactions bc ur analysation is amazing and u always notice each one of them

I know all kpop group Know how to dance. But not many can dance like Enhypen. If even one dancer is weak, you can really see it. But with Enhypen it's like seeing 7 main dancers. Especially Ni-ki, Jungwon and Heeseung.

I love how you raved about this Enhypen’s dance performance, most esp the standing ovation at mid part with Heeseung at the center, can’t blame you. This must have been what Bang PD was referring to when he said that with Heeseung at the center, he makes the whole group look good and powerful, making them really stand out this early, which is why he’s really worthy to be the CORE of ENHYPEN’s performance.

The group has an impressive dance line and definitely one of the strongest amongst 4th gen today despite being a rookie. Though i have moments when my eyes would naturally gravitate towards Heeseung wherever he is, i thought that was just me until i notice the reactor is complimenting Heeseung even if he is not in the center. He really stands-out.

Your reaction makes me cry again 😭🤦🌠💖 I can't believe Heeseung has just had his toe surgery last month! 😭 (He's injured his toe) But still I worry about Heeseung's leg (toe) by such hard dancing and movings !! 😨💨 I'm same with you, I'm still excited and don't stop being impressed in their performance by watching practice video!! 😭🤦✨ I'm also speechless with their powerful, sharp and speedy performance!!

im a full on ni-ki stan (i mention this because i always pay close attention to his dancing), and i completely agree with the comment made about jake and sunghoon's improvements! their moves are so much more polished and intentional while they are still able to add their own style to it. these guys have the best line in 4th gen right now and i echo what you said about their growth being scary. imagine them 3 years into their careers 😭

I really can't remember how many times I played Heeseung's center part!!! He really went all out like there's no tomorrow and we ain't complainin'! We freakin' love ittttt!!! 🥵🔥 but all member shines in all of their performances. They have so much growth and maturity now with all their moves and they are way better now than what they can do when they started. Ni-ki has always kinda reminded me of Zelo from B.A.P and the spinning move he did was very reminiscent of the move Zelo does during his rap in One Shot, especially the Music Bank performance where he does the spin whilst rapping and goes down to a kneeling position. Seriously can't get enough of this dance practice tho 😍

a few things I want to say is that Jake didn’t debut for nth. The producers and everyone who voted for him definitely noticed the insane potential in him. After debuting, he just keeps on getting better and better, he never lacks behind, his growth is so insane and always noticeable in every comebacks and dance practice videos like this. It’s actually scary how much he can grows in such a short period of time, and this is why as more time pass, he’s gonna be unstoppable on stage.

They're coming back with new album/single in January 2022, just 3 months away after Tamed-Dashed. Imagine the amount of work they put in their only 1 year few days.

And with all the tragic/difficult setbacks they have had all throughout this year! I mean even before their official debut they were attacked at the airport, they have lost family members, 6/7members got COVID, there have been at least 4 “scandals” so far they have had to get through, Heeseung having surgery on his foot, Ni-Ki and Jake being away from their families, etc., etc. and yet they just keep pumping out amazing performances and heartwarming, entertaining content. They already have become global ambassadors for AMI. Done work for Abib. Done the music for a famous anime called Remain. Done a Japanese debut, been on Kelly Clarkson’s Show, ranked very high on the Billboards, did the Dazed magazine shoot, 3members ranked on 100 World’s Most Handsome Faces 2020 (also nominated again for 2021). Riki with Jay is hosting ANNX a Japanese radio show for a year. Sunghoon is the MC for MusicBank now and was the 1st and only person to skate on MAMA! I mean their achievements are WAY beyond just awards and trophies!! They are incredible kindhearted, talented, thoughtful people. Their humbleness and work-ethic is so admirable! They even did Hey Tayo and Billy Poco for young Engene! Their families should be so proud of the great young men they are and are growing into! I am so proud to be an older Engene! Love from the USA 🇺🇸 to Enhypen and Engene! Thank you, Jeff for all your incredible reviews as well! I appreciate how much detail you give in your reviews. You give much better feedback than the normal “wow that was cool. That was in sync. I love this!” type of comments most reaction videos are; I often think I can just watch the video myself and make the same reviews - BUT I never have thought that watching yours. Hybe right now has practically some of the strongest dancers in the industry not only talking about individual members but as whole groups. SVT, BTS, ENHYPEN, TXT, NU'EST, their dances are on another level when in comes to performances or special performances and it has been like that with every group since debut if you think about it. It's incredible bcs not only the debuted groups are this talented but their trainees also, Trainee A is a strong group in dancing and other aspects as well, lookat JJ, James, Leo, Sangwon, Jihoon like all of them, It's crazy~

I had the same thought. I looked like a fight scene in a historical kdrama! Jungwon showing off his Taekwondo 🥋 skills! I wish they would use more of Riki’s acrobatics! There’s quite a few Predebut clips of him doing some cool flips! I know he has done his back flip and one spin/kick (obviously not the technical term for that move. Lol) before but I wish they would incorporate both of those skills more AND Sunghoon’s spinning!

In addition to the powerful dancing, their live singing have also improved immensely. I noticed Jay’s vocals in ‘Drunk-Dazed’ were so clean (mic on!). You notice Jake’s animalistic moves, I’ve been noticing a curve/bounce to his moves. He’s quite lithe so the shapes he makes when he dances pop out. FYI ENHYPEN will drop another album in January (possibly a repackage) so be on the lookout for yet more content! Lucky us ENGENE!❣️

I was waiting for your reaction Jeff, Istg they are not a rookie group anymore, they are talented af since day one and all the gonna do is getting bigger and bigger every comeback. Ni-ki, Jungwon and Heeseung are so precised in their movements and is so satisfying to watch it when they play in center. Jay and Sunghoon are just amazing dancers, as well Sunoo and Jake light up the stage with their presence even if they are not in centre❤️

While watching the performance on MMA i couldn't stop screaming and fanning myself, it's just so intense! I still can't believe that they just turned one! It's crazyyy, their growth is crazy and scaryyy! That's why we keep saying that ENHYPEN are the best performers in 4th gen., their dancing skills, singing skills and most especially their stage presence!! Imagine seeing this performance live, like in front of your very own eyes. I would be probably be dead by the end of the performance. Gosh these boys, they make me so proud! I've been with them since I-land and seeing their immense growth makes me so proud. Can't wait for their performance on MAMA though, they are saying to watch out for it and I think it's probably much more intense than this 😭😭

I absolutely agree with your reaction in Enhypen not just with the choreography but also the promise these seven boys hold. Their growth for this past one year is beyond amazing. They have infinite possibilities. Not only their dance moves are getting sharper but also their vocals. They are still young and with more practice, they will be one of the top tier group in Kpop.

im sooo happy that u talk ab jake. ppl always say this to the point that sometimes it almost feels like a backhanded compliment, but he improves sm. hes a work in progress (they all are), but this is a work that just started not long ago, and its progressing fast. he literally just took off from the start line when the others are already mid race. i noticed this since the first time i saw him dance ; his executions are soft, and he takes wide steps in his moves so his movements are larger. at first i thought it was bc hes a beginner, so he looks sloppier and weaker than the others. but then i thought oh maybe thats just the way he dances. thats his style. when the others' dance are sharp like tak, tak, tak, tak, you can see the edges in their moves, jake looks like he curves his way around the supposed edges. he still needs more work on his stamina bc he gets out of breath often even in singing so thats that. and jake is smaller than most of the others. sure hes thick in the chest and back area but his shoulders arent as broad and hes lesser in height. on stages, hes often put in multilayered, oversized, thick outfits so sometimes you cant really see him moves. so i always look forward for dance practices to have a clearer view.

Just a reminder for the aerobatics for Jungwon, he has like 7 years of taekwondo experience. He can do the spinning kicks that include some air lift. I know it isn’t a direct correlation to aerobatic work, but it probably helped.

yeah, the camareographer in MMA didn't capture everything well here hahaha I agree. I'm really grateful to be able to see your reactions and comments, even being a pro seeing you excited every time you react to Enhypen is amazing to see, I was also blown away by all the details in the choreography, the control in Heeseung's jump being him being so tall, how amazing everyone looks and when Heeseung is center it gives another plus point, Jake's growth, wow, I also can't believe it's only been a year since they debuted.

Jake is amazing man, he is the one with least training time if I am not mistaken but still he just keeps improving so so so so much. Glad you mentioned him, he deserves all the praises because the growth of those guys overall is over perfection.

I feel emotional rn cause I found this channel because of your reaction to enhypen's given taken dance practice a year ago but as a multi stan I started watching all of the reactions and seriously yours are the best but sometimes I feel like I love enhypen a little more than the others so every time they come with something the first thing that comes to my mind is "is Jeff gonna react to it?" i watched the mma performance live and was falling asleep and then they came on and i was wide awake, the performance was no joke also jungwon used to be a taekwondo athlete so thats probably why he could do the kick move so well

I agreed on the staging/lighting/camera work for this Award Show!!! I am a proud multistan (mainly ARMYGENE) but I enjoy watching many of the other groups. I personally don’t Stan the group “The Boyz” but I wanted to say I felt so bad for them too because during their performance they had a great dance break also and with the poor lighting they might as well have been dancing in the dark. I think not only Enhypen, but many groups will be wanting to put out dance practice performances of the award show.
