I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

reminds me of what ryujin said about girl group stereotypes, like they can't do hard choreos and stuff bc they are "girls" and that frustrated her so much. now she's proving everyone that dance should not have any labels !!! but i also want to commend girl idols, they go through pms, dysmenorrhea, other struggles like harassment, and still be able to perform REALLY well T___T

Unpopular opinion... I can't say that I like the song, but ITZY have elevated it one hundred times more with their way of singing/rapping and dancing. It's a song I would prefer to watch performances of it, rather than listen to.

One does not need to be a dancer to realize that Itzy are a bunch of monsters, specially in dancing. Movements are so damn sharp specially Yeji.

i thought not shy needed a dance break but this song was very full??? dancewise. there was a lot going on already so i think giving a quick break with lia’s bridge is an amazing decision

imo not every choreo needs a dance break, especially with this song, it just wouldn’t fit. it would make more sense for them to remix it and then have a dance break at an awards show like Jeff said

They probably won’t release a stage practice version because of the intense choreography of their comeback. 😭 last time was fast-paced but the singers would have a certain choreo that would allow them to sing well while moving.

MAFIA IN THE MORNING CHOREOGRAPHY JUST HITS SO HAAAARD! Itzy's just so versatile and talented. Speaking of talent... Jeff could you possibly react to Gfriend's dance practice videos? Im sure you'd love them. Seventeen is known for being the kings of synchronization and Gfriend are actually the queens of synchronization AND formations. Their choreography doesn't disappoint. I'd really love to see a Gfriend content and hopefully, you'd read my reaching out comment lol.

It really is hard to finish a dance move on time specially if the beat is fast or too powerfull. Sometimes the pacing may also affect the moves so it really needs a lot of practice😭
