Fun fact: The choreographer said Lisa works so quickly and she had no problems teaching. She would show Lisa the move once, and Lisa would just know it and never have to go over it again. That's our dancing machine Lisa!

@Mark Anderson Lmao. Yea, ok, whatever. It's Lisa's solo, she is supposed to name brand herself. Rose wrote her name in her video, not any other BlackPink members. Jennie basically named her song "Solo" it was all about her not needing the others in BlackPink. They all need to do whatever they can to sell as many albums, CD's, as they can.

Loved this! Delightful analysis! I agree, it was urban, industrial, luxurious and very culturally influenced! Now I’m not music expert, dance is more up my alley but I think I’m the soft outdoor scene they, like you said, stripped back some of the audio to keep the subtle softer tones so it stayed matched and could easily be tied back into the chorus. Apparently hands are a big thing in k-pop which I mentioned a little regarding the choreo but wanted to point out how they really used it to emphasize the lyrics but also the vibe especially with her nails. Like the transition from head of FBI swat industrial to the luxurious and sexy but elegant pole dancing portion, like peep the nails! They add to that boss babe business vibe and then into the ending that displays so much Thai cultural influence, her nails being gold to match the cultural aesthetic! Like I’m in love with all of it. Sorry more of a convo comment but just I’m with you about taking us on a journey! Oh lastly and the intro with the elegant black dress down the hall and the hardcore rock/Iron maiden suit contrast down a korean alleyway. 🤌🏽💋
