Musically, what I love about Monsta X's music is that they dont always stick to the same old song format..they always mix and match it up, sometimes the rap is at the beginning, or its in the bridge, or it ends on a rap. They also ALWAYS have SUCH amazing choruses and choreographies. Monsta X's music/dance has really left an impact on KPOP, and although it may not be obvious, you'll see it if you look closely into some 3rd and 4th gen kpop groups...many idols love to cover their choreos and they mention MX's image/sound. Beautiful was a big hit, and really cemented Monsta X's growth, especially internationally. It should have been their first win!! It was robbed >:( I hope you check out choreos to Stuck, Jealousy, Shine Forever and more!

I see that you're in love with Minhyuk, he's actually a more underrated member in terms of people noticing him and I think he's very talented! Jealousy is one of my favourite songs from them and their choreography is so smooth and lovely to look at!

Minhyuk catching new people with that VISUALS YEAH MAN. Minhyuk is so beautiful, in this era his looks were everything for me and his photos teasers were 10/10 he was shining so majestic. Hands down to his beauty and his voices and his talents.

Monsta X really is incredibly talented and creative dance-wise I feel like even some of the fandom sleeps on their dancing and choreos.

*OMG JEFF CAN YOU REACT TO MONTEEN (SEVENTEEN + MONSTA X) MOMENTS!!* Seventeen and MX are known for being best friends, and even the fandoms are basically married hahah! Stanning the 2 groups just goes hand in hand! Since MX and Svt both debuted in the same month in 2015, they spent many months promoting together and sharing waiting rooms as rookies, and they became super close!!!!! Their friendship is just SO AMAZING

Oh I never thought that this choreography is "lighter" because of the hard vocals, and the break is so cool and in sync...so satisfying! You are right, this is a less aggressive choreography but always with Monsta X's unmistakable personality. It reminds me of "Shine Forever" or "Jealousy" choreos and I love how they are so versatile but always powerful in all their movements. Also, about the MV: this is the final chapter of a triad of songs (All in/Fighter/Beautiful) and one of the many theories is that all the members except Jooheon are locked up in some rooms based on their sins (each member represent one of the 7 deadly sin). Jooheon passes them the "keys" to redeem themselves in order to get out. Thank you for your reaction, I really enjoyed it and can't wait for another one! 。^‿^。

Excited! I might have been slightly obsessed with Monsta X ever since I saw Hero mv, it just really got to me

I genuinely think mx could've blown up just by having Minhyuk as the visual, hes so incredibly pretty it's unreal

In their earlier song for hard cherography I recommend Rush, Stuck, No exit! And they did had hard time with coat on stage but they still did it well, you can check their promotion stage on music programs like MCD. They only did it during the promotion.

Beautiful is the last MV of a trilogy. All In and Fighter are the other parts. All In and Fighter are also good songs.. Fighter is one of my favs. All In, Fighter and Beautiful are all apart of the Clan albums- 1:lost,2:guilty,2.5:beautiful. They have a tendency to have some of their MVs connect. Dramarama, Connect: Destroyer, VCR with Lost in the Dream and Find You. Shoot out and Alligator. Omg it makes me so happy seeing you remember Minhyuk🥺🥺🥺🥺 His lines here are not that much (almost in any song) BUT his lines are the ones that makes this song what it is. He sings the “so beautiful, so beutiful” part and you can see there that he was born to sing that part, his voice is soooo distinctive and amazing 😍

What I love with monsta x dancing is that they are light on their feet ,cause when you look at them physically you'll think they'll be aggressive dancers like supermanly but no they are so light on their feet and still keeps that manly vibe to them

To me Monsta X are trendsetters and i hate that people don’t acknowledge that. They’re truly so unique and they have the best concepts ever .

Jeff, you should definitely check out UNB Feeling Dance Practice and MV, as well as their song Black Heart (there's no dance practice for it but you can find the fixed fancam of the live stage). They were only together for a short while, but the group was full of talented dancers, one of which was Chan from A.C.E!

A lot of Monsta X's concepts revolves around them being the 7 Deadly Sins and in this music video it's prominently shown with the mirror, the gold bars, etc

'Beautiful' is still my favorite title track. I love this some and taught myself the chorus.

If you want to get to know other girl group, I suggest you - WJSN @ Cosmic Girl. They are in the same company with Monsta X. Their choreography, even it's not hard as other gg, but theirs are beautiful 🤣 Dreams Come True, Secret, Save Me Save You and others. 😁

A lot of what is referenced here is from the trilogy story line that this music video is contained within, the previous two being All In and Fighter and the last video is Beautiful. At some point it would be good to watch those two as well. Monsta X often does multiple video story lines for their albums.

I’m so glad you love them! Beautiful is one of my favorite title tracks. A fun song to react to is Play It Cool. The music video is awesome. They don’t have a dance practice to it, but they have a comeback stage that they display the choreography for. The MV is in English & the stage is the Korean version.

This is my favorite monsta x song and choreography cause Shownu helped and it still is my fave it also has a ballad version. I can't get enough of it been listening to this since it got out.

Hey Jeff, that video you reacted to, Winwin and Ten dancing to Lovely was part of a wayV project where the dancers, rappers, and vocal organized a performance by themselves, creatively and everything. Well Winwin and Ten did Lovely, but the rappers Lucas, YangYang and Hendery danced to Wow by Post Malone. If you want to check it out. The vocals Kun and Xiaojun also made a song to sing.
