Aaron, I think your bright background is alright. 😉 But the dark background suits you much better. I think a dark background really reflects your passion for fragrances. I know it sounds weird. 🤪

It’s funny - I know you’re not the biggest fan of this fragrance, and it’s certainly generic and derivative but it will always have a place in my heart. It was the first fragrance that made me go “oh wow”, and kicked me off on a fragrance journey that has led me to becoming a hobbyist perfumer. For that I will always be grateful for this one!

This is my favourite Perfume & I'm so glad finally someone with knowledge spotted the fact that although the base is similar to Creed, it still has it's own character. When I compared it with Aventus, it lasted longer plus it still keeps that fresh woody smell after hours however Aventus becomes more sweet and gradually disappears. Thank you for your video.

This is one of my favorite fragrances! I compared this to Creed Aventis one night and it smells very, very similar to Aventis, but to KY pleasant surprise the Explorer had much better longevity than the Aventis. I think Explorer is great just as it is

The background change is interesting and different, and hair change is very cool. We all get in our comfort zones, the black background is all of ours, I read that you'll go back to it due to location which is great. There _is_ something more dramatic about the dark that suits you, but again, occasional change is all good. Very interesting/neat cut to the hair, hope you're well, cheers!

Montblanc Explorer is brilliant. I directly compared it to Creed Aventus and both myself and my wife couldn't tell the difference between them. I own a 200ml bottle after instantly buying it when I smelt it on a colleague. (Not that I wanted to smell the same as them, just it was the best, strongest scent I think I've ever smelt!). Performance, sillage, everything is great on it, it's clean and fresh and woody and masculine. It works in pretty much all situations, all year around. I would literally rate it 10/10, and I have hundreds of pounds worth of fragrances. I would say it suits a man aged 30+.

I picked up a 100 ml bottle of this for about 30 quid! Absolute bargain. Love the bottle and it smells really nice on me and lasts well. It's an easy any time any day kind of spray. Have a lot of compliments aswell if you're in to that. Nice to know I don't smell bad.

Aaron, I recently received your sample set. After a 48 hour testing I'm confident that Haze, Daddy, Guapo, Boss Bastard and High Voltage will be in my rotation. This is saying a lot because I usually only connect with 1 or 2 fragrances from a house. The only other house I have bought multiple style fragrances is Tom Ford. Having said that theres one fragrance in particular that grabbed my attention. Hard Candy. After reading your description I decided to give it a proper run instead of assuming it would be too sweet. I grabbed my sample of Hard Candy and went into my room. It was nighttime so the mood was set. I turned on the blacklight and turned on the soundtrack to Charlie and the chocolate factory. I closed my eyes took a healthy inhalation of Hard Candy after two sprays..... I opened my eyes just as Mr. Wonka himself started to speak "Come with me and you'll be in a world of pure imagination" Hard Candy is an absolute masterpiece, Mr. Hughes. I then went to purchase a few bottles and it appears sold out as it was a limited run... Is there any chance you can do another run of Hard Candy? Otherwise Hard Candy will remain a mere whisper to my senses. Hair looks great, btw🦄👍

I like the new hair style! I have Creed Adventus, Explorer and Hacivat. None are clones imo. I like them all but drydowns are all different. To me, I get huge performance from aventus, that has fresh/sweet/wood drydown. Explorer is more ambroxan and peppery, and Hacivat is green and earthy.

While I find myself not particularly fond of Aventus , I rather like Explorer as a safe work scent. I rarely wear it outside of the work environment however. On my own time I prefer dark, rich scents like your Onyx.

Explorer is my favorite fragrance. My favorite scent profile is the citrus woody aromatics.

With Explorer I cannot smell the pineapple, with Aventus I cannot smell anything but. Maybe I should layer or combine them to get a "full" fragrance with pineapple note? I purely bought Aventus because of the AWESOME pineapple note!

The explorer that i've tried at a store doesn't last very long.. probably 3-4 hours of scent bubble? Then I can't smelled it anymore on my arm or is it that it has become weak, it still is kinda expensive for the performance and scent imo

I recently bought a bottle off eBay but Im getting no performance from it I put about 6 spray's around my neck and before I know it I can't even detect it in the Air. The seller says it could be my skin but I see you've said In previous vids your skin isn't the best for fragrances but here you say the scent is strong and lasts a long time. Guess maybe I got a bad bottle 😭

I would suggest Parfums Vintage take on Aventus, Pineapple Vintage Emperor. They have mastered the Aventus inspiration to a level unmatched. The Emperor EDP and EXTRAIT are what Aventus SHOULD be.

Have you ever come across a fragrance that isn't safe, legal and compliant? I ask because I purchased a Sauvage Elixir clone by Lattafa called Asad, and while it smells amazing ( less refined and far less projection) is super cheap, after reapplying, it completely destroyed my throat.

LOL You look younger here! :D This is a citrus-acid white musk and smoke bomb cloying bomb. For $40 bucks on Discounters it's a good frag, but it's cloying in the high heat. Suppose to be an Aventus clone. Aventus is much smoother and tame with the citrus-acid, and Patchouli comes into play in the Bottom Dryoff. I smelt a girl walk past me corporate Downtown wearing it, and for some reason i just find it tacky.

I honestly like the black background better. It seems to fit his personality and the feel of the video.
