I really liked Sierra from season 18 and never understood why so many had something against her besides Brendan and Taj.

A lot of people don't recognize what a key part Sierra was to the trajectory of Tocantins.

I feel that Sierra from season 18 wasn't so much of a social pariah as the rest of her tribe mates being bullies. They lied about her and treated her awful... I could never figure out why.

If u only have extremely good social game u can win Survivor, if you only have extremely good physical game u can get to final 3,if u only have an extremely good strategic game u have a good highlight video or final 3 at best

Eliza Orlins was on the bottom both of her seasons; in Vanuatu she managed to get herself to the final four, while in Micronesia it was a different story. Glad she made the jury though, as those reactions were priceless.

I was expecting to see Sugar she literally turned exile island into her own house, which she dubbed the sugar shack, granted production built it tho but she still made it to finals…not to mention that when she came back for another season without exile she was so annoying she got voted out first I believe. Wow being a social outcast actually saved her game lol

The difference in Cochran's games can be summed up one one word: Ozzy. Ozzy single handely made Cochran a pariah because he only respects challenge strength and in Redemption Island he had significant social influence being a legend and the only returning player on the tribe, had Ozzy not been there I think you'd have seen a game much closer to his second run.

I feel like Sherri is such a underrated player, if it wasn’t a fans vs favorites season I think she would’ve done a lot better.

Just saw this on Reddit and wanted to share: what about a Best Moves in Challenges video? for example: Penner pulling all the balls out of the mud in his first run to make the game easier. It would be great!

I'd put Ben Driebergen up there as well, his win was very similar to Mike Holloway's in that he only made it the distance because of literally being safe

There is a topic I wish you could discuss with your opinions or even information and statistics : Do you have a better chance of winning the final vote being an underdog on the outs, or being the top dog, controlling most of the votes? I see this a lot and lately I feel underdogs have been given wins. What do you think?

Great video. I don't think that a person who is uncomfortable socially can quickly transform into a social butterfly without being seen as fake. I do think that someone can learn not to be so socially awkward that they become an easy vote out early because performance has not been seen or alliances have been developed.

I would so much rather be on survivor then in high school.

Love your videos! I just subscribed! If I was on survivor, there's a chance I'd be a social pariah. I'm on the autism spectrum so socialiazion does not come easy for me. I can make friends, but if I was on a tribe full of jock and cheerleader types, I'd be SOL!

Hmmm. I am bad with names. But the guy that dumped rice in is sock I would say is one.

Christina from One World should also be included! No one seemed to like her (some even less than others) and she was just seen as completely disposable. Heck, she was even told to jump into the fire. I felt so bad for her watching the way she was treated. She seemed like such a truly nice girl and everyone just despised her for what appeared to be no reason. Even through swaps and merges she was never able to gain really any footing at all socially no matter how hard she tried. Watching the way she was treated was comparable to Alecia’s treatment in Kaoh Rong in my eyes, except she made it much further into the game, though solely because she was a number for difference alliances that wanted power. She was just seen as a free vote instead of a friend

I miss Tarzan in the list of main social pariahs. And maybe even another winner - Bob Crowley. He was kind of liked and respected as a competitor, but socially, he was on the outs from the beginning to the end.

Late to the party but... how about Pariah alliances?? In Edge of Extinction, Reem got yelled at for moving people's clothes, Kieth almost drowned, and even though Wendy's story was much more uplifting, she expressed comfort and confidence despite being inherently "different." And suddenly all three felt drawn to each other in an alliance of people whose only joining factor was misfit status. It may have been the most doomed alliance in recent memory.

I wonder what can be said of people made pariahs for basically no fault of their own. Like Erika being a pariah at merge episode (ok maybe she can be blamed for targeting Sydney but still). And Edna being a pariah at final 6 just because she wasnt part of a group on the beach on first night. dont think anyone had problems with Edna, she just wasnt at that first meeting where the majority alliance was set up

Little did you know we’d see Karishma, one of the biggest pariahs in Survivor history, on season 39.

I actually feel like Sierra wasn't a social pariah at all. She started out at the bottom, and managed to keep herself around over Candace and Jerry. I also distinctly remember that Erinn would have gone before Sierra had timbira gone to another tribal council. Even characters that have had a lot of confrontations like Coach said they really grew to like Sierra. Idk, maybe it was just the edit she got due to being an underdog but Sierra wasn't a pariah to me

What happened to you Survivor Quitters video?

I would say Brian Heidik from Survivor Thailand can be considered as a pariah. He's very emotionless and had very few people that can actually get along with him, plus he's also a very unique winner from Survivor. I did like how he didn't show much emotion but was able to mesh well with few allies that can take him to the end. But when it comes to the vast majority, Brian isn't the first one to be sociable with from how I see it. I mean the guy was a bit awkward when he got a video tape of his wife in his season. I could be wrong about what I think of Brian, but that is how I saw him.
