When women have their periods they are shedding and releasing pain and what no longer serves. When you are having very terrible periods, it most likely means there is something you’re experiencing in your life that is painful or you’re overexerting yourself physically, mentally or emotionally. It’s important to take care of yourself all the time so the next time you have your period it’s not so bad. I remember when I had such horrible menstrual cycles I thought I had endometriosis. At the time I had a very emotionally abusive bf. after I broke up with him my period pain resolved. I still have intense periods from time to time depending on what’s going on in my life but they are MUCH more manageable now. Ways I like to take care of myself to make my cycle easier on me is exercising often, eating well and enough, laughing and being in good company, meditation, being outside often and just listening and following my intuition and just loving myself and being kind to myself. Another thing that helps when you’re in midst of intense cramping is speaking very kindly to yourself. Be the loving boyfriend you hear in this video to yourself and you’ll be amazed out how well you can ease your cramps just by self soothing yourself with your own love and kind words.

I totally understand as I on my period(1 day) and my mom toxic and narcissist her words hurt me so much.. and my cramps got worse and I vomited..but she didn't care.. and my siblings being mean to..my bro ate my fries cuz she told him it's extra and I feel my whole body aching.. I have an ultrasound tomorrow to potentially diagnose me with endometriosis/PCOS/something else and honestly, finding out that everyone who's ever told me I was exaggerating my pain or that it was normal was wrong has been SO cathartic.
