This is definitely the best video on this subject on KZfaq. I just have to ask, if you’re still around and reading comments, as far as metabolic causes, a vitamin B deficiency (b12 and B6), how bad is the potential damage, and how realistic is recovery?

I have developed quite quickly progressing neuropathy with severe pain. I was told that I have MBL and an Igm paraprotein. Waiting months for nerve and muscle testing and it’s progressing. U.K. Wrist and elbow pain. I’m wondering if having two blood issues would have an impact on my health. Tired waiting - quality,of life is poor just now but I remain positive - most of the time. 🙂

Hi Elaine, I'm really sorry to hear that and wishing you well! Can I suggest that you push for expedited care and Neurology input. The NHS can work wonders but sometimes it needs a push and cases like yours need specialist input. You might need to speak with your GP to do this, and depending on who else has seen you, Haematology and/or Neurology teams. The secretary's can be very helpful, and don't take a 'no' for an answer from anyone. Bw Simon

Sir. This is Sudarson, greetings from India. My mom has the foot pain for long years. We did Nerve Biopsy test recently. The test came. Impression: " CHRONIC SEVERE AXONAL NEUROPATHY. LIKELY IMMUNE- MEDIATED. Wat we have to do sir. My mom is in severe foot pain everyday in day and night. We didn't get solution. We went to lot of doctors. Please give me some solutions sir,

@@DrSimonFreilich diabetes is th cause. Now it's under control. Will.neuropathy go away if diabetes is controlled.

@@bkdileep Hi, unfortunately, I can't answer personal questions and individual circumstances. I do have a video addressing Diabetes Neuropathy in broad terms. Usually, controlling Diabetes can halt progression or at least slow down progression. I have seen one patient manage to partially reverse this type of Neuropathy when they reversed the Diabetes through significant weight loss. This is not a simple thing to do and depends on the exact type and duration of the Diabetes. Your local neurologist and diabetologists will be best placed to advise you. With best wishes, Simon

See a specialist, investigate thoroughly (there are lots of different types and causes) and then treatment options will depend on the outcome. Bw Simon

@@DrSimonFreilich can you give some examples. I just found out I have small fiber neuropathy. What does that mean exactly? How do u know if it is turned into large fiber?
