I’m doing my father daughter dance at my wedding to this song. I know it’s about his sister passing but from the lowest form of life I was 5 years ago to the family man I am now, it took a new context. I almost lost my life to addiction and then a long drawn out depressive spiral that lasted for those 5 years. Today I’m newly engaged, my kid is my best friend and I’ve never felt happier. This song is what gave me that kick in the ass to wake up. Thank you Periphery. ❤
