Another UNESCO site, and this one you will find in El Calafate, a small town which is home to Los Glaciares National Park. What’s of interest here? The Perito Moreno Glacier, not only is it the third largest freshwater reserve on the planet, it is also home to an 18-mile long ice formation.
The visitor center is just two hours from the town and from the center, there’s only a short walk to reach to glacier via a walking circuit. For the more adventurous spirits out there… you can climb Perito Moreno! Yes, there are tours available for a quick hour walk on the surface of the ice to a five-hour trek. That’s not all you will find at the park, though. There’s also a 2-mile high mountain, Monte Fitz Roy, which is just as treacherous as Everest.

The music was good and those weren't sound effects and therefore could not be fake. The cracking that you did here was from the glacier coming apart aka, calving. Real sound, caught on camera with the sight of the event. If you don't believe it, travel to southern Argentina in the Patagonia region & Glacier National Park (of Argentina &Chile) where this Perrito Morreno Glacier is and find out for yourself! I can guarantee you that it will be one of the most amazing trips that you'll likely ever take in your life!

You talk about the dangers of fire without seeing that you are burning. How nice and pathetic... There are hundreds of videos on youtube with collapsing glaciers and in your infinite ignorance you choose a video of Perito Moreno, a glacier that is one of the few that does not stop growing constantly (that is why the detachment of ice) and is also famous for the same fact and for giving every certain year one of the most memorable natural spectacles when a big section, allways forming an arc, collapse due to the force of the water... and then it grows again. In another glacier melting video everyone would fill you with likes, here you are making a fool of yourself and in a big way. Ignorant. Ahahaha and you are a geography student? Go fuck yourself...

Esto sucede cada 5 o 6 años, este glaciar está en constante crecimiento, se vuelve a formar y vuelve a caer. Es único, no tiene nada que ver con el recalentamiento global. Saludos.

Tendrías que informarte un poco, este es un proceso estacional que suele ocurrir en este glaciar debido a su constante crecimiento, es decir, SE REGENERA Y NADA TIENE QUE VER CON EL CALENTAMIENTO GLOBAL.
