i'm finnish and i think he said "kyl nyt on perkele" kyl is shortened from kyllä which means yes and the rest means "now is perkele" kyllä can kinda be used like "aber" in german, you can add it to sentences and the way i understand it, the best translation to english would be to use the word "man", i.e. "man, is it perkele now" = "kyl nyt on perkele"

@@MrAatami True the mini series had a lot more content/scenes of course. Don't know about the 1955 movie as I've never watched it, I've heard it has more humor though.

In Finnish the sentence is: "tuo perkelehän se on tuol närren takana, et sie perkele petä Rokan Anttia" there is no english translation to all the words but the meaning is basically: "it's that fucker behind that tree, you wont betray Antti Rokka" he spots the soldier that had just grazed him with the bullet and proceeds to go full perkele on him

Antti Rokka is the name of the Finnish Soldier. Finnish dialect is strange, Rokan Anttia is different because the name is object in the sentence and its pretty common in Finland to use the surname first when spoken of someone. He could have also said "et sie perkele petä Antti Rokkaa = you wont betray Antti Rokka" Where the surname comes later.
