The biggest problems Permaculture has is that people approach it with the same attitude that brought Us commercial monoculture. People think permaculture is "Less work", "Easy", a one time earthworks and planting project, etc. Basically, we have a lot of lazy people professing to practice permaculture because they made some swells and planted a variety of perennials.

the audacity to use ai art for the thumbnail of a video about permaculture is baffling. AI art is fundamentally incompatible with the very concepts you talk about in this video! sustainability, fair share, the interconnectedness of all things, etc.

@@discoverFigureitout we've been finding ways to exist without problematic, unethical, outdated and environmentally harmful forms of technology since the beginning of time lmao. Ai art is not harmonious, and as I said, it violates core tenants of permaculture which can be applied to the social structure we live in. why generate an image derived from other people's artwork when you could develop a relationship with an ACTUAL artist to commission them? doing what you can to engage with and care about your community comes does so much for the planet than generating cheap content on youtube.
