@@edithm-PugsAreCute yep (well, on the eyelid) , that isn't allowed to do without numbing cream. Just imagine a client trying to move because of the pain or not having the eyelid numb enough to prevent the client from opening their eye. Boom. Eye gone

My mom got her eyeliner tattooed as well! It's just the typical early 2000s look where the eyeliner just goes around the entire eye without a wing, but she got it when she was 17!! She's a total badass, and that's just another reason that my friends fucking love my mom, and my parents in general lmaooo

My mom got her eyebrows tattooed, my grandma did her lip contour a darker yet still natural colour and also her eyebrows, both told me to swear I'll NEVER do it because it hurt so bad 😅

I had trichotillomania, specifically with my eyelashes. Make up does hid it a bit & I get why you would get the tattoos. People treated me in a not so nice way when my disorder manifested.

I did eyebrows eyelashes and under eye. Not on purpose, I had a condition called ptosis, drooping of the eyelids. 😂 before she does the eyebrows, she draws her outline with a black Sharpie😮😮 So it really takes some getting used to. Eyebrows pretty painful but when you get to the eyelids, pry me off the ceiling!! And you don't want to move, might hear an oops!!! I'm glad you got it done, they did a real good job, happy for you!!

Eeeeow How did you word that to where we could FEEL IT TOO?🤣 Feel like I just went thru a mini session lol. On a diff note; I REALLY wish tattoo artists would add this to their resume bc my fav artist is Soo light handed; attentive, will notice if your BREATHING changes etc etc..Anyway my point is after having YEARS or decades of experience& expertise they def know wether they're naturally light or heavy handed. That's something I NEVER hear spoken of when it comes to cosmetic tattoos🤔 The needle is gonna needle, yes, but the pressure BEHIND it? Can't even imagine when they're done, hands flexed AF& the wiping pressure😭😒

Oh& I've apprenticed, done other peoples makeup, Overall noticed MOST peoples eyelids twitch when they're closed. It's the natural blink reaction+ more for some, so that'd be stressful

my mom does beauty tattoos and i got mine done too. surprisingly it did not hurt at all, it just felt like tingling. it looks good and did not swallow at all. i guess my mom is professional lmao. she’s been doing this for like 20 something years so she knows almost everything.

We close your eyes during that process. We supress the eye a little bit so we only see your eyelash roots and your eye is completely closed. I know it sounds like a torture when someone says you're gonna be tattooed on the eye but its not cuz i've experienced it when i was a permanent makeup student. I was volunteered to be a model for my other classmate and our teacher was near us all the time. I was so scared at first but our teacher showed us the right way and it was nothing. My mind was at ease throughout the process.

I know people that have horses with "bald faces" (white marking that goes past their eyes). They are prone to eye issues and skin burns on their noses. Sometimes we sedate them and the vet will tattoo "eyeliner" around the eyes. It's kinda interesting.

Girl u are BOLD, I don’t trust anyone with anything on my face at all. I’ve always done my own eyebrows and wore fake lashes bc mine are short but I do take breaks as well and put on castor oil at night to nourish them

I got my eyeliner and lips tattooed some years ago, I love it. But I remember the day I got it done my friends wanted to hang out after, and I was like dudes I can't I'm exhausted after getting my face tattooed for hours and my lips are huge... they thought I was just being a baby. 🙃

I have trichotillomania and I used to do eyeliner religiously everyday in highschool even when I had no other makeup on because I was so self conscious about having no eyelashes. Idk if I could go through with an eyeliner tattoo though, that looks so painful 😨

It’s normal that your eyelids swell after the eyeliner tattoo especially the next day (after waking up) because you rested your muscles 🤗 it’ll only last for a few days, mine lasted for 2 !

Oh I did the top water liner but did NOT do above!! It didn’t hurt as bad for me though yes I was numb. The inner tear duct area was the worst on the 2nd pass though. But it fades quicker because it is on the top waterline for me.

It’s an area of skin that sheds more often than other areas so it makes sense that it’s wearing so fast. Especially if u use exfoliating scrubs and face washes etc

everyone please remember it’s a face tattoo that is very hard to protect from the sun, it will get splotchy and discoloured and slowly you’ll have to add more and more. She looks great but do it if it’s a necessity

I first got the eyeliner tattoo 10, yrs ago and I don't know if it's BC of skin tone or that the procedure was better back then but you can still see some of it today I feel today people who have it done lose it not long after!!
