🚀 Great news for IT specialists, EU Blue Card holders and skilled workers in Germany: You can now apply for your Permanent Residency - also known as Settlement Permit or "Niederlassungserlaubnis" - after 27 instead of 33 months. We’ll take a deep dive into the changes that have come into effect on 01st March 2024, special considerations for IT specialists and discuss which months count towards your Permanent Residency application, along with the key requirements you need to fulfill.

Thanks for sharing valuable info. Just quick clarification, if anyone arriving to Germany for work will eligible to PR within 27 months with A1 language skills need to proof for immigration officer.

I have 38a residence permit if I got fired from the job before completing my probation period .is it necessary to inform immigration or I can start another job without telling them.please reply my message

Hi! Does it also apply to EU Blue card permits issued before March 1, 2024? For instance I have had a blue card for almost 18 months now & I am wondering If this would apply to me in 9 months or if its just for EU Blue cards permits issued after March 1st.

Wow. So in Berlin you don't necessarily need a official German language test? And only talking to the relevant person could prove our level?

Can you please make video to explain difference between ausbildung and duales studiam ausbildung. Do we get bachelor degree altogether ausbildung certificate in duales studiam ausbildung? And can we get permanent residence after completing duales studiam ausbildung

Thanks for your comment, I've noted the topic. Ausbildung is a unique educational program in Germany. It is a vocational training where you get a certificate in the end that is recognized in Germany but is different from an academic degree like a Bachelor or Masters degree. A Duales Studium is an academic program where you are employed by a company while studying, in the end you get an academic degree like a Bachelor for instance. Hope this helps.
