For Q2, should we divide the 5040 by 7? As it says each number can be used only once.

If I understood this correctly, you should not divide the 5040 by 7, because if you were to draw a (gigantic) probability tree for this question, you would have 7 options for the first number, 6 options for the second, 5 options for the third, 4 options for the fourth, 3 options for the fifth, 2 options for the sixth, and 1 option for the last number, so it would be 7x6x5x4x3x2x1 which is identical to 7!. Long story short, no need to divide 5040 by 7.

Hi, just wondering why Q3 is 3! x 4! and not 3! + 4! because the numbers must appear after the letters?

+TheJassal98 It is not an 'or' situation. That would be to add. No, for every way the letters can be arranged there will always be 4! ways the numbers can be arranged. so we multiply.
