My problem with Vastorage is the lack of offensive skills. Almost everything besides the Cero and M2 is if youre attacked, (The PB counter, the M2 counter, etc.) and frankly just doesn’t make Vastorage feel as fun since half the kit is locked behind situational requirements. Hopefully they find a way to make Vastorage actually fun and balanced without making it unfun to fight or play as.

@@nocturnables imo it should be a 3rd transformation rather than a 2nd life so it's not dumb (that's kinda how it is in the anime anyways) but add more offense to it like u said, it's so ez for someone to just dodge ur ceros and combo u after u use the current vastorage or maybe this is cuz i'm a spirit build?

Me personally if yall have seen the grip animation it should be a grab move. Just to make it feel more fun and have atleast 1 more offensive move

Vizard is arguably just not worth it, going normal Soul Reaper means you won't get any buffs but you also won't be 15% weaker without your mask.

the thing with soul reapers is that their abilities have relatively low damage scaling compared to the other races and they are also 15% weaker by default with the mask off. playing soul reaper is a careful process of managing your bankai and your vizard mask to do immense damage but still keeping enough mask and bankai to proc vasto rage. the reward for this careful planning and the lack of consistent damage ends up being vasto rage. you get a second life, with this second life comes the counter (use counter + m2 or counter + cero for free damage), hit m2 for free damage, or snipe with cero for free damage but this is not recommended because it can easily be avoided. most of your damage will come from your m2 and cero. vasto rage doesn't care for strength builds because you'll never be using your m1's as your opponent (if they know what they're doing) will be stalling for time or countering. also chaos and apocalypse are the two notable counters to vasto rage but both of them aren't 100% as you have to hit your ults with them. in the end vasto rage can only carry you so far which is a good thing, it's something that's very nuanced and in my opinion it's balanced. the other races are so much more busted in my opinion, especially quincy and quincycar.

I never pursued Vasto rage as I am hoping that they add true bankai or Horn of salvation, it could be 2 paths that you can choose for Soul reapers. Maybe even add true shiksi would be cool.

The thing is true bankai isn't actually a thing nor is true shikai its just a word used to refer to the full power of a Zanpakuto or an actual Zanpakuto with how much we be killing our bankai NPCs there's no way they haven't accepted us. Horn of salvation is also a Ichigo thing its white waking up cause while boxing mustache man the parts inside of him(Hollow, Quincy and soul reaper) were coming completely in union but mustace threw it off balance out of fear leading to white waking up hence horn of salvation. It would've been better if they made unique fully hollowified forms for each mask cause canonically Ichigo isn't the only person who has used it(kensei & moshiro etc etc) if we soul reapers get horn of Salvation it makes no sense for quincies to not get the quincy varient.😊

@@yeslifeisalie9769 I get the point you are making, but Vasto Rage is also a Ichigo only thing yet everyone has it in game. I feel they could do something for those Ichigo forms. It would be nice to have.

It isn't even canonlically called vasto rage in every single offical merch or kubo based thing even officially its called full hollowfication you know who also canonically has those said forms moshiro and kensei in the flashback, its legitimately just you becoming fully hollowfied as ichigo has repeatedly done more then once just the more obviously known one is the form white settled on.

i think vasto rage is strong no matter what (even if youre spirit you still do really good damage with your moves, its just not nearly as good as strength since you deal no damage with m1s) but its vizard thats mid. you get such a massive downside for not having your mask on its insane. they need to bump the debuff down a bit and make sure it doesnt effect health at all because being 15% weaker is crazy. and honestly vizard without vasto rage is worse than normal soul reaper imo

Bro okay your explanation for why it's a "strength build" was absolutely not an explanation. The M2 and cero and the counters are DUO SCALING its perfectly usable for spirit builds and the fact its yk another revive? The ONLY reason its more of a strength build is the fact it can be argued to be mostly m1s or smth Your second point is game issue :((( bugs suck Your third point of it taking awhile isn't really a con for the form itself. It doesn't take away from the fact that its another health bar and still allows you to deal huge damage and live on that bit longer to win!

VastoRage is a last resort transformation, If you get forced into vastorage you get another life, The skills are good aswell, If you object, just get better at the game, You have a cero that you can hold and it does a lot of dmg, more than ryodan, you have a guard break move that is true if you use your parry, think about how unfair a buffed vastorage would be in ranked lol, I can understand bug fixes. but a buff rework is absolutely insane to me
