Weakest Link hosted by Edu Manzano. Shown over IBC 13 around December 2001.
This game show / quiz show is the Philippine version of the popular primetime game show of the same name hosted by Anne Robinson in the UK. The aim is to use teamwork to string as many correct answers as possible to win and 'bank' money points. The longer the streak goes, the higher the pot becomes which can then be banked by the next person whose turn comes. At the end of every time limited round, the group votes to cast out one member whom they see as the Weakest Link. The Weakest Link need not be the one with the most errors or least money banked, anyone who gets the plurality vote to leave will be kicked out until only 2 people are left to slug it out in the head to head contest wherein 5 turn-based questions apiece will be given to the last two contestants until one wins.

It's to bad Edu Manzano chose to leave the show. If he didn't, it would've lasted longer. He was probably the best male host of the show anywhere in the world.

When Dennis answered "Laborer", he thought it was "Craftsman". But Edu said Cracksman which is a thief/burglar or safebreaker. He could've banked before the question then the money banked would've been P60K instead of P50K

When I heard of Baler in Mil's first Head to Head question, the first lady that came out of my head was Aurora Quezon. Perhaps she was named after the province where the (capital) city is. The second question is about Baltimore and it's obvious that it is located in Maryland (although its capital city is Annapolis)

Pers.TV I read your blog narrating your audition experience. I came across it while finding sources for the Millionaire PH article on Wikipedia. Great to see you on another show! I guess you are a fan po of game shows? I’m waiting for the comeback of Millionaire here. It’s the 20th anniversary this November.

Edu is really a funny man (as seen in Game KNB? And 1 vs. 100) and a professional at the same time. Normal lang na maging strict ang host sa Weakest Link. Cherie Gil, Jean Garcia can be good hosts for this or even Joko Diaz.
