Fun fact: the japanese word for velvet isn't just Berubetto. It can actually be 天鵞絨 (Biro-do) as well. So if persona was doing a very Traditional Japanese game, they might even say "Yo-koso, Biro-do Otera e"

But I think that makoto would have his shikigami (orpheus) and Yokai (the other personas) ergo making him the leader and strongest samurai among the 9 honorable warriors that fought against Nyx the pagan eclypse in a bout for a new sun to rise on the tomorrow of the world

If we did get a Persona game in an earlier time period, it'd probably also crossover with the Raidou series since the Kuzanoha have been active in Japan for generations at the current point in the series. Maybe the first Kuzanoha could have been a Devil Summoner who learned how to manifest their soul in the form of a Demon becoming a Persona-user.
