The FES AI is so ridiculously bad it seems it was designed to be this hilarious. When once in a while someone does something right you are surprised, for some reason Akihiko is the smartest one by far, I still cannot figure it out why.

I love this game so much, it's my first megaten experience and my favorite of all the persona games. That still doesn't change the fact this final boss is a special kind of frustrating bullshit that made me throw my controller in rage more than once.

I was very underleveled for this fight and I refused to grind when I was so close to the end so I just cheated with savestates. The fight took 4 hours. Bad decision on my part

i got to the night queen phase,my charmed yukari healed him to full , 40 minutes of my life gone, and my will to try again with it, and yes, refusing to grinding was a mistake, it was mine as well

What makes this worse is you can't control your party members in P3 like you can in the other games. You can only tell them to be on the defense, offense or support. *So you just have to sit there and WAIT*

@@Kevin_T. Ye ik but this is FES, meaning the only thing you can do is literally say "keep healing" "keep supporting" or "attack" Like I can't IMAGINE the anxiety of sitting there waiting for either YOUR turn to heal or someone else to heal you like "*panik*"

@@rushnerd It's really not that bad, if you use the tactics menu you'll be fine for most normal and boss fights. I personally found it pretty fun compared to controlling them in the other games

I played on Portable with only Party Commands (no controllable characters) and my only concern in this part of the fight was to avoid Junpei killing himself when Moonlight Gown was on because everyone else was smart enough to do something else.

My first ever playthrough I was close to beating nyx and he charm aigis and healed him. I was pissed but I give it another hour thinking "ok, it had to be a 1 time thing". He did it again and aigis healed him AGAIN. I got pissed off and turned off the ps2. Went to sleep angry

@@ms.pirateYou may be right that she does make mistakes in some fights when she is charmed, but so does almost all of the S.E.E.S party members, especially the S.E.E.S party members with healing spells, but the S.E.E.S party members, the Persona 3 Male Protagonist and the Persona 3 Portable Game Female Protagonist will always be my favourite Persona series group, and Aigis especially is one of my favourite robot friend!!!

No not really its just unfair bs rng game mechanics were removed of not being able to control ur party. More like the party got buffed actually making usable balanced party members with koromaru and ken. Also with theurgy but then again orginally persona 3 had fusion spells.

Honestly that is very tone breaking, I feel like Nyx should have a special immunity from that damage, it’s not even that hard to get that skill and with the somas and precious eggs you got in Tartarus you could use it several times in the same battle, that makes me not very invested in the sacrifice to seal it thing because Ryoji was wrong you can defeat Nyx by spamming that skill until she begs for mercy and leaves or something.

Nah. This vid is actually invalid - Night Queen deals damage, which it is not supposed to do, and it doesn't have the 100% random ailment infliction it's supposed to have

I been through worse pain. I was at the 10th or 11th arcana phase. I never used fuukas Oracle skill through out the game. I finally tried it to see what effect it would give me since its the final boss. Fuuka reduced my hp to 1 and i died when nyx moved twice since i blocked the first attack. I was upset cause i spent an hour on the boss at that point and i was close to beating it but i had to start over

I remember when I first beat nyx, it took like an hour, the protagonist and junpei were both inflicted with rage and if i took one more hit I would’ve died, thankfully rage makes you do a normal attack twice and the strength goes up a ton, so I managed to win on that one last turn somehow. Still my favorite final boss ever btw

I'll be honest, I've only fought Nyx after defeating reaper, so I don't really know the pain that it appears most Persona 3 fans go through. Plan to keep it that way too 👍

i went alone at level 99 with orpheus telos that i got from a fusion accident (he only had spell master and 1.9x magic buff lol), helel, satan and lucifer with morning star, i didn't even grind at all throughout the game i was like underleveled by 10 levels until i beat the reaper and just went into monad alone to farm for around 3 hours when i beat the reaper. i used armageddon on the moonless gown phase and just one shot the death arcana. i recommend the orpheus telos weapon since the most damage i took was 50 with that weapon
