Makes me wonder if they're gonna do something similar to Ikutsuki? His betrayal was kinda outta nowhere and there was very little, if any buildup to it. Like legit 95% of his screen time was him acting like the kinda/sorta but not really leader of SEES and cracking dad jokes. Would love to see this man get the Strega treatment in regards to character development, backstory, motive, etc.

@@toddhowze7398 They mentioned that Reload is going to have multiple side sidestories with characters that didn't originally get social link routes to flesh their arcs outside the main narrative. Given the confirmation that Strega is among those additional sequences I wouldn't be surprised if Ikutsuki is going to get similar treatment, as well as the male members of SEES who didn't originally have SL routes with the main protagonist

I wanted strega to get a proper backstory and development and it looks like I just might get it, yes…

Ikutsuki and Strega getting more character development or even the Chidorita treatment where we can even help them would be good. But again, P3 is about acceptance as well and they might have even more motives to fight to their deaths than we think... since we don't know tha tmuch about them based on the OG!

As cool as that would be, I doubt atlus would give them an ai smart enough to knock all of your teammates down at once. For a story battle, getting stuck in an infinite loop of strega knocking down your teammates leaving you unable to do anything would be terrible gameplay wise

I hope they add more to the Chidori and Junpei relationship, cuz it’s the only romantic relationship (at least from 1 & 3-5) between 2 characters that aren’t the main character and is reciprocated.

I don't know if you can say "a little", the only reason why they aren't considered the worst rivals compared to Adachi, (original) Joker, and Akechi is because people forget they exist.

@@SenpaiSamaKun Adachi is literally the primary antagonist of that game though, and the Jokers are the primary antagonists for a majority of those games. I don't think it's necessarily fair to compare Strega to them. Also, not sure I agree with "people forget they exist." Maybe Persona 5 fans that played the series in reverse and had expectations too high? But having grown up playing 2, 3, and 4, I remember Strega leaving an impact on me, with Chidori in particular adding a level of emotional depth and nuance that Akechi and Adachi don't even come close to. And the fact that a party member, Junpei, actually has a subplot involving Chidori also stands out to me, whereas in 4 and 5, only the protagonist gets any interactions with the "rivals."

​@@looney1023It felt like Chidori was the only one that got a decent amount of development. I love that she was conflicted because of her feelings for Junpei. Chidori was also the first girl that Junpei didn't directly hit on, it showed that he had an actual interest in her. She is one of my favorite female non-playable characters for a reason. This should definitely be an example of character interaction that they take inspiration from for Persona 6

@@looney1023 I don't know what's with this trickery attempt to gas up 3, they're all opposing path tricksters enabled by the true antagonist. Them not having agency or relevance is exactly my point. Also since when do people mention them? Not FES, 4, Portable, Golden, or Arena.

I played it on the ps2 last summer, absolutely loved it. I think the mainstream fan base has mostly played p5 and p4. People are unaware bc its an older persona but it just may be the best

As someone who was late to the party and went backwards from 5 to 3. I think P3 has so much potential and is probably my favorite written of the 3. As you said, the cast is dead serious during the dark hour and feel much more like a coordinated unit than the other groups. They can operate without the protagonist, they just thrive with him there. ...The gameplay was just kinda rough for me. I much prefer the P4 & P5 style of controlling the whole team.

I'm glad if she really is returning, but it just makes me more annoyed that they brought her back but nobody else from the original cast. Like why bring Tara Platt back for only Elizabeth but not Mitsuru? Why not bring back Liam O'Brien and Michelle Ruff?

That one shot of Chidori doing 300 damage to the entire party in her boss fight looks like they definitely gave them a much needed difficulty boost.

I think we should let P4 go. That and P5 have been milked to no end and P4G was than put on steam and switch so if you want a redoing of it there it is.

It will probably happen but at a much, much later date. P4 graphics did put me off initially, but I gave it a chance. I can't stop playing it now 😭

I can't see a reason why it would be considering they recently rereleased P3P with no issue. At the end of the day this is still an M rated game with the trailers being freely viewable online. I can see "teenagers shooting themselves in the head" as being a sensitive topic they'd want to avoid showing in ads.
