my final attempt at challenging elizabeth on merciless. probably my last video of P3R since i'm gonna prepare myself for ff7 rebirth on 29th 😊
anyone who wants to try this, be prepared for triple RNG checklist
1. scarlet havoc needs to crit more than 7000 damage, less than that then reset the fight
2. fuuka theurgy has to grant charge+concentrate. if she grants heat riser instead, then reset the fight
3. god hand has to crit!
successfully passing every RNG checklist means a guaranteed 4 turn kill
come to think of it, merciless really is twice harder than peaceful difficulty 🤣
peaceful mode = 2 turn kill
merciless mode = 4 turn kill
physical attack really outshines magic attack in this game. even with magic mastery, physical still does more damage. there's really no point in getting magic mastery in the end 🤔

The fact that you can exploit the hidden rules of this fight and straight up skip the next two phases thanks to Endure and Enduring Soul is awesome. Reflecting her attack drops her down to 10K HP which would normally trigger Phase 3, but she just goes for the Megidolaon killshot cause you broke said hidden rules by reflecting her attack. But thanks to Satan having access to TWO eduring skills, you just eat it up and hit her with the "no you" Armageddon killshot. The nerveracking part of this fight is to abide by those rules cause she'll just drop her scripted attack pattern and immediately go for the kill, and that's why Orpheus Telos is considered the best Persona to use against her when going through this fight normally since it resists everything. But as a wise man once said, rules were meant to be broken. And break the rules, you indeed did

You can actually kill Elizabeth in 5 turns without DLC, but it requires Magic Mastery and every possible buff for King and I. Elizabeth takes extra ice damage when she's on Surt for turn 2

i had outside elizabeth kill trash to load Armageddon, once started Armagd only took half her life, after that she killed me with just one hit, what can i do?😭

@@Capitanazo01 do not! use! armageddon! at the start of battle! you have to reduce elizabeth's HP below 9999 points first, then you can nuke her with armageddon you must not! bring! any persona that can negate her attacks as well! so, no null/repel/absorb elements et cetera

Wow nice job, btw akasha arts can do more damage than god's hand if you got 2 hits but it's RNG

if akasha arts hits once or twice randomly, then i don't want that extra layer of RNG during this fight since pulling this off was already RNG strict 😅 does 2 hit akasha arts produce more damage than god hand? reminder that i struck elizabeth with godhand during her nebiros turn which resisted all types of damage except almighty, so that was why the damage value was around 1600ish

Hi, quick question When you do a rakunda to lower her defense, does it need to be done by a persona or an item would be suffice?

@@gosukuma9369 item effects are the same as persona skills. so to be very clear, using rakunda items instead of rakunda skill will yield the same results i.e. reducing enemy's defense

i suspect this is going to be as low as it can go. i wanted to test out some other methods but getting magic mastery is truly just the most arduous thing. kinda wanted to test out if i could turbo boost shining arrows on kaguya or manage to get enough damage on her by hitting her with ice while she's using surt - but i doubt either method would really be sufficient

isn't elizabeth invulnerable to light and dark spell during any turn? does shining arrows skill work on her? 8 hits would be very devastating if kaguya has magic mastery, boost, amp, etc etc on her. but since there is a stack limit, i doubt it would go as high as 7000 in total damage 🤔 my ideas for 3 turn on merciless is 1. cast rakunda 2. cast skill that hits 9920 3. cast scarlet havoc that deals 10095 impossible indeed 🤣🤣

@@widyavello4335 id have to check her resistance cycle again. she seems to have less resistance to certain things depending on what persona she's using, and using the "weakness" of the persona can get her to skip a step in her first phase. not sure if she can be gotten to something that takes damage from light in a time-friendly manner (even if I could get the dang magic mastery to show up). for some reason i thought maybe she could take light damage while in alice mode? that'd take at least three rounds though unless there's some way to manipulate her rhythm we don't know about yet. but yeah even in the best of circumstances, i cant imagine wringing 875 damage per arrow. maybe tinkering with multi-hit stuff is gonna be a dead end though. my backup plan is to try a myriad arrows milady to see if that actually gets some results

@@tsundairyqueen9723 ok, so I've checked her resistances related to her personas and unsurprisingly, she nulls light and dark unconditionally. even during her Metatron and Alice's turn, hitting light/dark spells is useless if only we could get "one more" from critting her, then maybe 3 turns is not so impossible

@@tsundairyqueen9723 max damage from dlc with ice surt is 5K. Not enough. Kaguya isn't viable either since you need her to use Alice before casting that.

Magic's limited by needing Vulnerability to keep up in this fight specifically. If, say, you used a Goemon with all boosts when she uses Surt, it will deal 10K to 11K damage. Way higher than Scarlet Havoc's 10K. Magic is king if you try to get lowest turns without DLC for reasons like that (the absolute limit being 5 turns without DLC nowadays). Bonus is it's way more reliable too in comparison to crit farming. Shown here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d8-Hf5OrsLK-Z4U.html It can't beat 4 turns though since it does need Surt to be used to work.

that strategy really works best without using DLC personas indeed. i've been thinking for several weeks now, but nothing comes up on how to get 3 turns kill merciless mode 😅

@@widyavello4335 I think that's actually impossible. Like, just by looking at Elizabeth's pattern in 2nd phase, she needs three turns to setup her charged God's Hand. And you need to use one turn to knock her into that phase. Unless somehow there is a way to pop off 20K damage within 3 turns, it would be impossible. Hmmmmm best idea I have to dealing quite a lot of damage is Akasha Arts double hit and crit Johanna for first turn and then King and I Goemon for second. But I would wager that would only do around 12K damage or so. If only we can use Theurgia spells in a row, it would be possible that way by using Debilitate then King and I Goemon (but only dealing 9.9K so removing an ice boost out of all those 5 other passives) and then Scarlet Havoc Cendrillon.

@@raphaelcoprada4637 at this rate, the only way to reduce the number of turns would be another set of DLC personas with meta-breaking skills 🤣 sadly, atlus only sells new BGM and costume sets from episode aigis pack 😞

did you make your theurgy charger faster with the fortune teller? Is it necessary because if it is that completely caught me off guard because I didn't even know you could fight Elizabeth on the first playthrough? I thought it was like the other Velvet siblings where you have to wait for NG+ so I didn't adequately prepare.

that's right. I visited the fortune teller before challenging elizabeth. if your goal is to defeat elizabeth regardless of the number of turns, then optimization isn't really that necessary

it's probably RNG. a lot of commenters have testified that they got 20.090 after several tries. did you max all stats or just STR, MAG and LU? might as well just max all stats, there might be hidden mechanic by doing so

skill mutation only. it's not really hard to get almighty amp, i got it multiple times when i tried getting magic mastery, which i got only once in a 100 tries

@@spec7923 yes, i loadback'd since it was faster (closing app after done fusing then hit resume activity) they should've, at the very least, let players who have cleared the game on merciless, to carry over their progress to merciless NG+, that way, it motivates players to replay the game again

I tried it, and i passed the 3 RNG, but when i used Armageddon, Elizabeth still has like 1 hp remaining, (i have the same build persona as yours and max all the stat), should i try again?, or is there something i miss? Edit: i tried it again and yeah it's work, need like 70 try to defeat her, thx for the tips👍

@@FutilityFS did you, by any chance, use debilitate instead of rakunda? if you use rakunda on eli, only her defense will be lowered. if you use debilitate instead, her defense and attack power will be reduced. that includes her repelled damage from god hand as well

I have a question, with the strategy on this video is the Almighty Boost/Amp really necessary for this fight? because that last Theurgy attack will always hit Elizabeth for 9999 damage so I'm guessing that having those skills to boost your Almighty damage won't matter in this fight, correct? I want to defeat her in merciless too and so far, this seems to be the easiest strategy but I don't want to spend a lot of time just trying to get the Almighty Boost/Amp or any unnecessary skills, I just want to build something similar to this as quickly as possible with the minimum amount of skills and finish her off.

1. armageddon will always deal 9999 damage. no use having passive boost/buff/debuff/charge/concentrate 2. trying to defeat elizabeth in 4 turns will be more challenging due to RNG madness. defeating her in 6-7 turns is way more manageable

@@widyavello4335 I see, I have another question, I see that your Satan has Rakunda, I don't have the skill card for it but I can easily fuse Messiah and Lucifer to create Satan and pass Enduring Soul and Resist Phys to it, I can also pass Debilitate to it, I can replace Rakunda with Debilitate, correct? BTW, how did you get Johanna with Strike Amp? that's the only skill I'm missing and I don't have any skill card for it.

@@d-hunter9801 1. if you cast debilitate instead of rakunda, elizabeth's godhand damage will be reduced when it's repelled. debilitate is like tarunda, rakunda and sukunda in a single package 2. i passed on strike amp from parents persona when i fused johanna. but i think we can get strike amp skill card from shuffle time, it's probably J rank or Q rank.

@@widyavello4335 Yeah that seems to be a problem, In other words, it's important to have Rakunda for this fight. I'm currently trying out fusions and trying to pass Strike Amp to Johanna, once that's done I have to figure out the Rakunda part since I don't have skill cards for it either, and once that's over I'm good to go, I just need to level them up, what a pain, lol. Edit: I'm good to go, I have everything I need now, I don't have the skill card Rakunda but I do have Marakunda which is basically the same thing but it targets all the enemies. I only need to level them up now, thanks for all your help mate, I appreciate it! =)
