Man it is such a breath of fresh air to find someone who actually has positive things to say about this game. I LOVE this game so much. There is absolutely no reason to go back to the old games in my eyes, unless you really want to play as FemC.

This video is freaking incredible. From the slick editing to amazing usage of in game models being used to make comedy, it was overall a blast watching this video. I only just have one criticism with this video, and that is constantly bringing up Persona 5 Royal when comparing this remake, especially when it came to how the Social Link and combat systems work in this game. As a viewer who is very familiar with most of the games in the series, it felt like you were undermining this remake of a completely different game than Persona 5. Especially when it came to the point of saying that this whole premise is basically like Persona 5 when you had Igor in the Velvet Room explain what this game was about. All the Persona games have completely different identities, and it felt as if you were saying that this game was like Persona 5 for most of the video. But you're entitled to your opinion, and I really respect you for putting out some different opinions than the rest of the Persona community. This whole video was a breath of fresh air compared to everyone else making the same points over and over again about Persona 3 Reload. I really respect you as a reviewer because you were able to make an opposing opinion of mine engaging and palatable in a comedic way. (Also Fuuka is S Tier. I will die on this hill.) Overall, pretty cool video. 11/10! Will Persona 3 again! I can't wait to see what epic videos you come up with next, and thank you for giving me some more inspiration to work on my own Persona 3 Reload video! Have a great day!

I think you can't compare Palaces to Tartarus that much, they both have way different game design goals. Palaces prioritize exploration while Tartarus prioritizes combat, I got to play P5R again after P3R and I was able to analyze the differences. One palace has WAY fewer enemies than a tartarus block, i think a palace has 15+ enemies or something like that and they are well spaced, while Tartarus has 5+ enemies PER FLOOR, you found a shadow in every corner, and palaces only have 1 miniboss and 1 optional miniboss, while tartarus has 3 minibosses on it's tutorial block and the number keeps going up, and in addition when the monad passages start to appear with their optional bosses that are 2+ bosses per passage and they are hard, so it makes sense that the aesthetics of the palaces are better crafted than tartarus, in P5R the player spends much more time exploring than battling, the game even encourages you to run and hide from enemies and continue exploring instead of battling, and P3R is The extreme opposite, Tartarus is just a place where you find enemies to battle, the game encourages you not to care so much about exploration, and instead looking for your next battle, that's why they tried too hard to make the combat feel fluid and fun, and that battle animations THEY ARE SO PEAK. i prefer the P3R way, the battle system of this franchise is so PEAK that i can't get enough of it.
