This video doesn't show the Protagonist's because that's only in the animé, and Taro Namatame's doesn't really count.
Scenes taken with permission from GLP TV's playthrough of the game. I swear they had it, but it seems they've removed it for some reason.

The Phantom Theives aren't about secrets. They don't have secrets like this. The Phantom Theives are more about overcoming abuse. That's why they face the world, instead of themselves.

I really loved the shadow Teddie fight because unlike the other shadows, teddies shadow doesn’t torment him but is rather straight forward because he is the cold truth Teddie has been distracting himself from by acting happy go lucky all the time, and it really brings out the main theme of P4 of reaching out to the truth as it hits home specially when Teddie confesses he’s just a shadow and comes to peace with it

Yeah it’s tougher around the time this came out too, especially in Asia. They always put certain qualities on a level required to reach. Thankfully now, it’s okay to be who you really are. Some places still keep to these ignorant ideals but we’re finally reaching a point of acceptance

I love this game so much dude, I can’t tell you how much this game has helped me out during the toughest times of my life. It really did help me confront my shadow self when I needed to the most and I’m living much better thanks to it

Watching the anime or playing the game shows that whenever a character pronounces it, it's pronounced "ju-nes", and the Japanese version says "ju-nes-oo/ju-nesu".

It's never meant to be easy. The Metaverse way has its own dangers, the P3 way's criteria is mostly unknown even now, and Philemon isn't going to choose willy-nilly.

@@rRecoveryProdiirc (and if I’m not subconsciously using my own headcannons) in p3 you need to be aware of Death, not fear it, accept that you don’t know much, if anything about it, and press the trigger to show you’re willing to risk your life to get the Answer, but refusing to simply die observing without action. Also I think the Evokers are just very advanced technology relying on persona science but it’s not really explained. Now that I think about it, persona are easier to burst out huh. In P3, they need special technology to be able to call their potential and accept death (without desiring it upfront). In P4, you need to face yourself, and (Also look for the truth). In P5 you need to rebel against judgement from society, (and also have a desire to change this society) Apart from the environment in which these develop, they seemingly awake easier as time passes

So to sum up all the characters shadows: Yosuke: trying to draw attention to himself to keep from being isolated by boredom. Chie: wants someone, like Yukiko, who needs her at all time. Yukiko: wants someone to practically take her somewhere far from the boredom of Inaba. Kanji: Is scared of being rejected by either girls, or guys. Rise: Wants to be a different person other than Risette. Teddie: *IDENTITY CRISIS. Naoto: Wants a reason to not be alone, and yearn to be an adult and a man.

Yo to everyone, what'd be the things your shadow say? Mine'd say about things like abandonment issues i guess. Or how i feel my friends are only my friends because of moral obligations. Edit: I found out modern pagan witches nowadays do something called shadow work witch is pretty similar to p4 shadows. They describe it as 'self therapy'. That might be the inspiration, as it's incredibly similar other than getting attacked by a monster of course, so that's pretty cool

My shadow would be an IT CEO with a business suit, and he'd yell at me for all the sadistic vengeful thoughts I have and I would need to fight the fucking Reaper because I wouldn't have the force to face that desire of Vengeance. @@lisahenry20 I'm pretty sure it's just that his theories are rarely correct, mostly his lore theories. They sound fine at first glance, but he doesn't do the research and some evidence he provides even proves him wrong if you examine the context it came from. He also doesn't give any sources, when he uses them.
