The good news is that Akechi was exaggerating a bit when he said they had a 99.9% conviction rate. The bad news is that the actual percentage isn't far off. It's around 99.3 to 99.6%. So he was only off by fractions of a percent. Either prosecutors are infallible and clairvoyant demigods or they are just getting convictions by any means necessary regardless of evidence. Apparently forced confessions like we saw in the beginning of the game are commonplace too. So just being suspected of a crime is basically enough to ruin your life because prosecutors won't let a stupid thing like a fair trial get in the way of boosting their conviction rate.

Yeah, the odds are weighed against you (there's a reason it's called gambling), but that's why you stick to stuff like cards if you can. Perhaps I was over leveled (was lvl 61 at the time due to grinding money and personal levels) but all I used was Dakini. Used Rakunda on Sae, had Atk up, used Charge, and attacked with only One shot kill. Each shot did over 1k lol.

I had a level 54 Arsene for this fight with 46 St. I just spammed Charge + Swift Strike, each time dealing over 1000 damage total. Felt pretty bad, she didn't stand a chance at all especially when I have Null Phys.
