Royal's changes really do hurt the heart a bit more because (despite Brojiro's best efforts) I'm pretty sure the girls all know what's up when Joker receives a phone call during the White Day date, but they choose not to comment on it explicitly because they're convinced that he ultimately chose THEM (though some of them can't help but voice their suspicions, especially older Confidants like Takemi and Ohya). Guess the devs thought that Joker getting beat up on Valentine's Day wasn't guilt-inducing enough (because it was more hilarious compared to, say, the tear-jerking consequences in P4G). Interestingly enough, the girls will remind you of your blunder from the Valentine's Day incident even if you pick none of them and hang out with Ryuji and the guys instead, but you won't receive any "suspicious" phone calls either during the White Day event. Either way, this really only further cements Sojiro as Best Brojiro(tm)
