Good news: Haru can cut an 8+ hour road trip in half Bad news: The experience will do the same to your lifespan

Just so people have context as to how rough things were for this trip: - It's roughly 640km / 400 miles from Fukuoka to Kyoto. The 8+ hour travel period by vehicle is pretty accurate. - If you look at the time and date at the top corner, it went from MORNING to NOON without changing date. Meaning that Haru most likely made that entire 8 hour drive in about 4. - The entire party had to endure that nightmare of a drive with very little way of stopping a VERY focused Haru. - From what Google Maps showed me. Highlighted cities on or near that route include: Kitakyushu, Hiroshima, Kurashiki, Okayama, Kobe, and Osaka. So Haru was likely swerving around normal weekday morning highway traffic in multiple notable Japanese cities going about 160kph / 100mph nonstop and (likely) not hitting a single vehicle. FLOOF! NEVER! DRIVES! AGAIN!

The advantage of having Haru being a part of the plot from the very beginning of the game means we FINALLY have time to see her personality shine through properly.

No joke: When Haru first offered to drive, the first thought that crossed my mind was, "This is how we all die, isn't it?"

the way Mako tried to constantly keep the wheel from Haru, I assumed she was just a classically clumsy driver. It wasn't until that little giggle and smile that I realized: "Oh no, she's a speed demon."

The second Haru gets behind the wheel... It's Noir alright.

To be fair, nobody died and the car was fine which means that she does, in-fact, have skills.

Persona 5 Strikers just demonstrated how absolutely unhinged Haru really is inside, and I appreciated that greatly.

Haru is the reason to why we won’t have a Persona 5 Racing spin off, because she’d be too OP.

Haru, a sweet, motherly lady who spend most of her free time taking care of the plants and create organic coffee like her grandfather. Also Haru: wields a battle axe, uses a grenade launcher, her Persona has 4 heavy machine guns, and she drives like a maniac.

The instant Makoto was against Haru driving I knew exactly what type of driver Haru was...My group of friends may have a Haru in our group banned from being chauffer.

Seeing Haru's personality change right when she gets behind the wheel makes me think of a Goofy cartoon called "Motor Mania."

I also love the bit where Sofia says she tried to tell everyone she sensed a Jail in Osaka, but they couldn’t hear her over their screams. 😂

Joker beforehand: Come on, she can't be *that* bad. I learned to drive via a cat. Joker afterwards: *mumbling, unaware of the world around him* Where'd you learn, how to steeeer...

I love how both Haru and Sophia are completely unfazed by the fact that they just did an 8 hour drive In like half that time or less.

I have to question how Haru passed her driving test, like did the driving instructor pass her soely so they’d never have to be in a car with her again after the test was done (also i like to think Haru canonically got closer in this moment to killing the Phantom Thieves than any villain/god they ever fought)

Status: Akira: Not really affected, but we can see, that he got tired, after Haru's crazy stunts. Lifespan: probably not affected. Ryuji: Barfed his entire breakfast and maybe even his yesterday dinner. Stayed hungry for the rest of the day. Lifespan: around -5 years. Ann: Got her head spinning for a while and got emotional scars. Lifespan: at least -10 years. Morgana: Lost consciousness. Got around after some time. Lifespan: Unknown, if it was affected. Yusuke: Probably the same as Akira, but affected a bit stronger. Lifespan: -2--3 years. Makoto: Even though she tells Haru not to drive a camper van, Haru still drove it. Makoto was prepared for that. Lifespan: Probably not affected. Futaba: Was the most affected. Even when others recovered from that experience, she still suffered from it. Lifespan:

Morgana has to be driven in Mementos. So when Haru and Morgana were fleeing, Haru had to be driving. Yeesh, she really is a bad driver... I see why she normally has a limo service.

You know, I got quite nervous last year when I was in the passenger seat the last time my sister was driving the car before her driver's exam, so I know how Makoto feels. I felt myself cringe and wanted to cover my eyes the minute everyone started screaming. Seriously, Haru, I don't know how you got your driver's license. It's gonna get revoked at this rate.

Now let us all remember: This was an 8 hour drive. 8 hours. Of this insanity rollercoaster.

Every time Makoto denied Haru I was like "Oh come on, she has her license, we'll be fine. You don't gotta play hero all the time" then Haru gets behind the wheel.... I'd be scared if I was there physically, but I'm not. Nice driving Haru! We didn't die and we got there FAST without all the fuss about getting tired while driving

semi-spoilers for strikers something I really loved about this game, which both Persona 5 and Royal lacked was showing the characters as friends. Clearly p4 did this the best, and in p3 there were many moments in which they were not meant to feel like friends. This has the same vibrancy as the p4 anime. It's fun to see more of Makoto being a scaredy cat and Haru being borderline psychotic.

Once Haru started giggling, I thought to myself " Get that woman away from the steering wheel before it's too late."

I love that Makoto was trying to stop her since practically the beginning of the game and every time I was like "Oh no, she drives like the devil on wheels, doesn't she?" From what I read in a comment in one of the P5S videos that had Japanese voices and English subtitles, in order to get from Fukuoka to Kyoto from Morning to Noon, Haru must have drove the car at a speed of around 99-72 mph (159-116 kmph)
