Never apologize for carrying the handgun you like. You don’t have to justify it to anyone. I like that belt.

I carry a Colt 45 and before I had my Kore belt it used to hang low on my side but not anymore. I now have two of these Belts and will be buying more for Christmas gifts for my sons and Brothers.

I been using regular old leather belts for conceal carry for years, not knowing something better was out there. Then I ran across gun belts watching a youtube video and decided to research them. What I discovered is that Kore belts seem to be the best rated out there, and after using mine for about a month I can confirm its true. Excellent rigidity, superior technology with the ratcheting mechanism, splendid looks, and very sturdy build. So far I can't find any flaws.

I like this simple n clean EDC...not overboard like the other mall ninja reviewers with the 3 knives and 10 Xtra mags and just bunch of weight.

Ah i used to carry a mini grip serrated, switched it out to a bugout, both are great knives but the bugout is just so light!

So far, my Kore edc belt holds everything in place. I had sag with another brand, I was always pulling my pants up. With the smaller increments of adjustment i can hold my xds or 1911, it adjusts to what I need and holds it all in place.

Owner of 3 Kore gun belts. First is 3 years old and still going strong. So I wanted to try them all I guess and having a brown and black leather belt is always nice. Holds my glock 19 just fine or anything smaller that I've switched out. All in all great belts.

New subscriber here. I love the simplistic approach to edc as I do the same. Also when you showed the cards in your wallet I saw the 801 area code and realized I knew I had seen the back of that card before and went and looked at my concealed carry permit. I'm in northern Utah myself. If you're in the same area maybe I'll catch you at a range sometime. I like supporting local edc channels ! Keep up the good work. As a retiree my EDC is: the Ruger LCP plus an extra mag, wallet, keys & cell phone. I no longer run into danger and like to keep my load light. My watch is an old school Omega Seamaster.

The best gun (for you) is the one you shoot the best. I love Glocks, but also really like M&P's. Thankfully we can have both.

I am a firearms instructor and I have owned and sold many pistols while trying to find the correct fit. I liked Taurus because of the fit of the grip but I didn't like what a lemon it was. I shot Glocks and never like the feel or fit of the grip. I found the S&W M&P line and really liked the changeable palm swells to adjust the fit of the grip to my hand. My first was the M&P 9c, then the M&P 9 M2.0 then the M&P Bodyguard and finely the M&P Shield 380 EZ These pistols fit my hand and have never had a malfunction. I use them in training classes and after 60 years of searching I'm happy.

Same here... I have a lot of glocks. I actually like the way the 17 fits in my hand more but the M&P is just dead nuts without even thinking. It's my go to, for sure.

I personally recommend the Ridge wallet, it's been my EDC for 3 years running. I've tried over a dozen wallets. Also if you're a fan of the alien gear holster. I switch to the Kedder holster. The Rapidtuck IWB. Hybrid with the single clip and leather backing.

Have the M&P 40c that I have recently converted to 9mm with a quick barrel and mag swap, Put 100 rounds through it and no issues.

Thumbs up for me. My best Kore reinforced dress belt combo for me is Glock 43 pistol with paddle holster and other EDC items on the leather gun belt. I found too much weight on the reinforced dress belt will make me have to cinch the belt to an uncomfortable tightness. I use the Kore tactical belt to carry Glock 19 in OWB or paddle holster due to heavier weight of all EDC items. With all the gear you carry I would wear the tactical belt as well. Much much stiffer to support the weight.

Nice , simple EDC set up. I carry that exact Olight past year and love it. I used to own a M&P9 and M&P45, both full size. Cannot believe I sold them!! they both were super reliable guns but just liked shooting my 1911's and Beretta 92's more for full size .45 and 9mm. I'm with you on Glocks-- I respect them for what they are and certainly understand why tons of people love them. I've just always hated the natural POA for me. Bought a Glock 17 many years ago thinking everybody should own at least one Glock 17/19 and sold it after one range trip. As far as carry guns, right now my Sig P365 and M&P Shield9 are my EDC's.I'd buy a M&P 9c if I could but it's off roster here in CA-- gotta love this state.

Love the realistic EDC...and that it is a true EDC, not "today's" EDC. The specific items in my EDC are different than yours but the common theme is practicality: keys with a keychain multi-tool, lip balm, wallet, watch, flashlight, phone, 2 pens, and a solid leather gun belt to hold it all together. I work in a non-permissive environment so I don't daily carry my S&W M&P 9C M2.0 (4" barrel) but when I do carry away from work, I wear a Black Arch Holster Protos-M. I know you did a review of that holster system and am surprised you chose the Alien Gear over it.

And I'd never carry a gun with a manual safety...but that's just me too. My benchmade just turned 20! Back to my US Army infantry memories.

Yes I believe the andar pilot was discontinued due to a possible similarity to the secrid mini. In order to avoid a law suit or any bad publicity they got rid of them all together. Amazing wallet while they had them.

I got a kore belt in 2015 thats black leather its been my favorite belt since. The way it fits your waist can't be matched by regular gun belts really. None that I know of. Then last month I retired the belt and got the newer version with the screws. Didn't think it could beat the orginal but the new buckles are even better and the tactical is stiff and very well made.

Where do you put your gun when you sit in the car? I find that carrying at 3 - 4/4:30 is uncomfortable when I'm driving. Appendix is more comfortable but I'd rather carry at the 3 - 4/4:30 position.

Close to what I carry. But I carry the Shield in the Alien Gear Shapeshift Appendix holster. (occasionally a Bradech holster)

@ Green light shooting have you ever tried the holsters from n8tacical? They are amazing look them up. Before I had an issue with my gun falling out of my holster, my gun will never fall out again.

Great taste. I also use the ShapeShift holster, Galaxy S3 Frontier and Benchmade knife. (Mine Benchmade does have the hybrid serrated blade though.) Always love your videos and reviews.

Just curious because your reviews were a big factor in me picking up a PX4 for my first gun, but why don't you carry that (or even a hammer-fired for that matter) as your EDC anymore? Great video and very clean EDC. Always nice to see an everyday guy's EDC and not a tactical Rambo Jr. that carries 2 folding knives and 4 fixed blades.

May sound crazy, however I carry everything the same. Except my pistol is a G-19, watch rip curl diver. I also have to shout out for the Kore belts, they are great, I have three.

I purchased a Shape Shift Starter kit years ago for a different hand gun... I only need the shell that Alien sell for around $35.00. I carry the 3.6” in a Tier 1 Concealed Axis Elite but wanted to have a backup set up for it. Thanks in advance. Great vid 💪

Do you have the thumb break or release on your Alien Gear holster? FYI, I pretty much carry all Glocks personally. The number 1 reason is because I am very comfortable with them because I own several and shoot USPSA, IDPA, ASI, etc. with a G34. BUT with that being said IF I could I would probably carry a Sig 320. I love Sig's more then any other brand. BUT they are super expensive and replacement parts aren't exactly easily and readily available like Glocks. I own the M&P40 full size and a Shield and I like both but at the end of the day like you said it is what you are comfortable shooting. Anyone who says otherwise needs to get a reality check. Why carry something you aren't comfortable with and proficient with? After all we carry not because we are paranoid we carry so that we don't have to use it.

Can that IWB aliengear be fitted for appendix carry? yes I know they have a AIWB model as well, but the AIWB is way too bulky. feel the clip on the AIWB makes it stick out a few extra cm more than the IWB would since i see the clips are on the sides

I also recently switched from a Glock 19 to a M&P 9C 2.0. To me the M&P has better ergonomics and the texture is really aggressive and easy to hang on to. After shooting it a few times I feel more confident with it than I did with the Glock.

I wish Alien Gear had a holster that supported the OLight PL-2 BALDR which is the light you advertised a while back that is a light and laser. You should use your influence to see if they will make something like that. P.S. Burt’s Bees is awesome!

Great EDC. I feel the same way about Glock. Mad respect for the company on all fronts, but for me personally the ergonomics just aren't there ( I think it has to do with my double-jointed thumbs). If you haven't tried o'keeffe's chapstick, you may change your mind on Burt's. Not criticizing, just throwing that out there. Thanks for the suggestion on the QI charger. Nice set up. Always go with the weapon you shoot the best and are most comfortable with. S&W, Glock, Sig, whatever. Same with the holster and belt. I'm a leather person so the belt is leather along with the holster. Works for me but may not for everyone else. Choices are great. I will admit to not carrying a light. My choice and where I'm at, there's always ambient light. Always a reload too. I'm not an "operator" so 1 extra magazine is fine. 😂 Nice video. 👍

So anyway you have a new fan really like your honesty and seem to always have good practical advice and your down to earth not trying to prove to anyone that you always have the best if the best you recommend what works for you and give us ur honest take very helpful when looking for new gear . Thank you for the time and effort you put in to helping others make the right choice and not waste money . Very real and practical EDC items some people go way over board . My favorite is the olight I love flashlights but never found a good reliable not too large but bright enough for any situation . I just always thought of olight flashlights as a firearm mounting FL not and EDC so that is something bI learned from this video and most likely will be picking one up. You carry the knife in your “ back left pocket “ but it appears you haven’t switched the pocket clip. If I’m not mistaken, you’re carry it backwards which would make it almost impossible to deploy in an emergency without rolling the knife in your hand 🧐🤔🙄

Nothing beats my two CRKT 'bearclaws' i wear on each side of my belt.(cerrated ones) This combined with a Casio Mudman G-9300 gives me the feeling anything could happen.....

The M&P line are absolutely fantastic firearms and if anyone has held a Glock then the M&P it's a way nicer and improved grip like god himself molded the grip to match the human hand it's lovely it's basically a Glock with style and personality, anyone who hates A probably never held or shot one and or is B dosent understand it's whatever the operator is better with all around, at least you're man enough to find the issue and address it good video bud seen the M&P in thumbnail had to check it out lol

I have an Alien Gear holster for my Sig SP2022 and I retired it for Urban Carry. The Alien gear prints way too much.

I prefer m&p also. Ambi slide release and reversible mag release is nice for us lefties.

Nice gear. I would say you’re pushing OLight though. You said you work with them, and they made you a one off custom flashlight. People see that as a biased opinion. Not me, I use OLight as well!

I carry almost the same stuff. Except the pistol. I live in Greece-Europe, so if I have to defend myself I only have my hands or a knife. Unfortunately is illegal to carry pistol or rifle here. Anyway, really nice video. Keep up the good work mate!

Man I have tried so many times to get into the minimalist wallets but I just hate that the money goes on the outside where it’s in plain view. I just feel like if I pull it out to get money to pay for something, and someone sees any significant amount of money then you make yourself a target so I always end up switching back
