Great ranking, thanks for making this. Indeed, there are not many Giselle rankings on youtube, so I'm glad you made this. I have some disagreements like Flemish, Latin Spanish, English, Russian, which would be much higher and French, Mandarin and Turkish, which would be lower. But thanks for loving Ukrainian, she's one of my favorites. Also thanks for Hebrew.

I really love the Georgian version :) The other favorites of mine are Turkish, Ukrainian, EU French, Putonghua and Hungarian

I'd just keep Gisela way higher; I not only consider her fitting, but her voice has a little rasp that just magnifies my love for her rendition of the songs. And can't lie, Maksim ain't the prettiest singer but she's so GISELLE! that I can't keep her even one place below top 10...otherwise, I love your top 6. :D

She's now convalescing from a near-fatal COVID-19 case (she's spend a month on ECMO in an induced coma at 38!) How do you call that type of voice(she likens it herself to Bambi)? Light lyric soprano or a lyric coloratura?

Okay, let me just 'eee' in excitement because yay, Giselle! I was expecting Miroslava to be last, and I still for some reason tolerate her (though her Giselle is a lot worse than her Anya), but it's still a solid and understandable last place. Except for Selma, we agree so much on the low places (especially Castilian and Portuguese, most people like them but they never did much for me). I guess I kinda disagree with Sylvia, she's very cute (especially in the beginning of HWS, great choice btw), but singing-wise I find it just as enjoyable as her Rapunzel, as in still bottom 5. Actually, listening to Canadian Giselle here makes me regret putting her so low, she's pretty fitting. 100% agreement on the comments for Dutch and Latin Spanish. Totally regret not putting Georgian in my ranking, she deserves credit for being so damn fine, especially for an 'unofficial' dub. I think someone recently uploaded HWS and THYK in Arabic in HQ and without missing parts, she sounds a lot better in HQ and she'd be a lot higher for me now. I was very curious where Amy would land, and 9th place seems fair, singing-wise there's a lot of voices better than her, but she makes Giselle the comical character she is. I love your analogy of Italian, and the placement doesn't hurt either :D Same fave role for Bernadett it seems, I mean I love her Anna, but her voice worked so well for Giselle. Well, your top 2 is in my top 3, same number 1, we almost have the same voices in the top 9 (I think only Mandarin and Thai would be switched), so yeah, A LOT of agreement as usual :D :D

You took the words right out of my mouth about Amy Adams. I actually live in Wisconsin and I’ve never heard anyone speak or sing in the accent that Amy has in this movie and it’s a huge part of why I don’t like her Giselle. If she didn’t pronounce words like how she did I’d probably like her more.
