Love your work. I like how you call personality traits 'superpowers'. I like think to think of these traits as 'brain bandwidth'. When I watch ESFPs lead with Se I I often think 'wow they have a huge amount of bandwidth for incoming sensory information. And same with ENFJs - huge amount of bandwidth for processing social cues. As an Introverted Intuitive, I have good internal bandwidth, but sometimes it feels like I have a dial up connection to the outside world lol

There never can be enough answers for questions because there'll most likely be inquiring premises forever. As an INTJ nerdy guy (That's what I get typed as the most anyway. Sometimes, it's either INFJ or ISTJ depending on the contextual parameters, but I resonate with the INTJ more strongly) who seeks "perfectionism" in everything, I believe it's only becoming that Emma is an ENFJ. She's my favorite actress and literally is basically ideal with every category. Emma is very funny, intelligent and seems to actually be a genuinely caring person. And of course her looks anyway. And it proves there are magical dynamics between INFP and ENFJ🥺 And lately I am kind of confused of Ti-Fe and Fi-Te.I always think I am INFP, but sort of self- contained/ awkward to express myself unlike the passionate Fi. I saw those analysis of the Japanese writer Osamu Dazai, who I supposed to be INFP, on Pdb website, turned out to be INTP or INFJ, and it makes sense. This writer was known for his half biographical novel, No Longer Human, in which there were tons of negative emotions and feelings, but he always tried to analyze all the feelings and rationalize them instead of expressing it of what it is, and that’s why he was typed as INTP or INFJ. That would be great if Eric could show us more examples of INFP mistyped as INTP or INTP mistyped as INFP:)

As an INTJ, I found your points on her Ni quite interesting. I've gone through comparable periods. I wouldn't say that I had anxiety (because I've always been a very calm person by nature), but I was extremely prudent and vigilant. And interestingly enough, my concerns weren't really related to Fe as hers was (such as a fear of separation from others or a need to keep them safe), but rather to Te. I isolated myself to the degree that I could, and I became obsessed with maintaining the systems around and within me (because one such system was my own body). I will give an example: if I touched the wall in my room at one place, I needed to touch every part of the wall with a force and distribution equal to that of the initial contact point. Because I figured that the initial, miniscule inconsistency would otherwise become gradually amplified across time, decreasing the structural integrity of the wall in such a way that it would eventually result in its collapse, if not that of the entire building. It didn't matter to me whether the weaknesses that I was aiming to fix were actually comprehensible to the senses or not, and the same goes for the measures that I took in response. I was obsessed with the abractions of these systems that I had created in my own mind. Furthermore, this way of obsessively viewing a system like an infinitely linked chain can bring forth a need to utterly perfect each link (because as the saying goes, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link). I also rationalized it all as being part of preparing me for my greater vision. These are all tendencies that allow me to think, live and act in extraordinary ways, but it can certainly go too far if my focus is applied indiscriminately.

What do you think about the people that type her as an ENTP? I've noticed that's a common type people bring up for her.

I go to extremes to avoid interacting with people, in most situations. However, Ms. Stone is the type of person that could instantly drag me out of my shell, and make sure I’m included in whatever is going on. It’s beyond her celebrity, beyond her beauty, it’s that warmth and very welcoming personality. I feel when you’re around her, she will make you feel like your her center of attention. Her eyes alone, would probably make me a groveling idiot - but it would be so well worth it.

3:16 as an ENFP with ADD, I find the topic of textures and sensory surroundings to be interesting. You would assume that because I have inferior Si and demon Se that I'm not very aware of those things, but given my ADD it actually has a tendency to steal my focus very easily. Ever since I was little I couldn't stand uncomfortable clothes, and I opt for comfy hoodies and sweatpants most of the time. Since having ADD lowers my working memory, I need that "slot" to focus on the task at hand. People with ADHD/ADD really do not like being uncomfortable, and having a bad sensory environment, even though I am an Ne dom, still demands my attention affects my performance a lot. Most neurodivergent people (ADHD, autism, Asperger's, etc.) tend to have very strange and specific sensory preferences for things. For me it's things like: -I can't stand mushy food (wet eggs, overcooked oatmeal, boiled things in general) -Steamed vegetables are the bane of my existence -I use the tiniest spoons I can find -Random obsession with a sensory thing (food, song, texture, movie) that lasts 2 weeks and gets completely abandoned -Wanting foods that can be crispy to be as caramelized as possible (quesadillas, steaks, grilled vegetables, pizzas) -Hating it when my hair sticks to my neck while sleeping/wearing a sweater So I guess what I'm trying to say is that strong opinions of sensory things isn't always an indicator of a sensory function.

I used to think I never check in with people. I find it very hard to talk if I'm looking at someone. I find myself checking in more if I sense something negative or some discomfort? It's tiring though so I don't know how the primary and secondary Fe users do it all the time. 😅

Great video as always! Your videos are the most simultaneously informative, insightful and entertaining typology-related videos that I've come across on KZfaq. I was really intrigued by the part where she talks about being convinced that her friend's house was on fire. It reminds me of something similar that used to happen to me. When I was at university I used to live in a flat on I think the 5th floor of a block of flats. Every now and again I would be lying in bed and would suddenly be overcome by this feeling that the building was going to burn down. I think it had to do with the fact of being high up in the building so that I knew that if there was a fire I would be trapped. Sometimes the feeling would become so strong that I would become almost convinced that the building really was going to burn down, and I would just be lying there, frozen with terror. And every now and again I get random irrational presentiments of doom about really specific horrible things happening. Of late I've been of the opinion that I'm either INTP or INFP, but perhaps this indicates that I actually use Ni? I also relate a lot to the part about having a strong sense of purpose and a vision of what you want to achieve and become in the future. I'm not the kind of person who strategically plans things 50 steps ahead, but I am certainly grounded by knowing what I want to achieve with my life, in fact having one single overarching goal, and need to feel that I am constantly progressing towards realizing that goal. For that reason there have been quite long periods in which I have typed myself as an Ni-dom. Or can that sense of purpose come from Ti or Fi? I guess it's time to rethink my type for the two hundredth time haha.
