I really don't think it's going to get that bad. I don't think people will tolerate it. It's only been a few weeks, eventually everyone will get stir crazy and will be open to taking more risk. This period was important since little is known about the virus. I doubt governments in free countries even want the burden of operating a police state, it would be very expensive and hard to organize on top of everything they already do.

@@Captain_MonsterFart What's interesting is that lock down protests -- which are starting to ramp up (and which I am likely to join) -- are being colored in the MSM as "right wing extremist" gatherings. They are conditioning everyone to look at this in simple black and white terms: Either you comply with the mainstream conclusions and directives, or you will be politically ostracized, perhaps fined, perhaps arrested, perhaps incarcerated. I am a left-leaning independent, and I believe the massive lock downs are an exercise of overbroad powers that we will have to fight to tamp down -- I am not even close to being a "right wing extremist."

Fauci is in on the greed goals of the sociopaths doing the panicmongering. Pushing a vaccine rammed through fast without proper research, etc. He is NOT trustworthy. But almost the entire bunch of elites/oligarchs/rulers know that the panicmongering is lies to get certain greed goals - they are travelling, even flying to places, having dinners with other politicians, not wearing masks, doing all sorts of things they tell us "peasants" NOT to do, so they show us that they are telling us garbage and just trying to keep us scared and shut down as they get trillions in bailouts, etc.

Antibody testing will paint a very different picture and provide a more accurate denominator. Millions in the U.S. were exposed in December 2019 and January 2020. If a large sample of Americans were tested for antibodies the calculated death rate would be closer to tenths of 1 percent. Remember most people with Covid 19 are asymptotic and not in the current data, as they never accessed healthcare.

Many countries did NOT do the panicmongering or severe lockdowns. Even many states in the US did not do as much severe closures. Florida mainly did NOT close most parks and trails, for example, and people have been able to get and enjoy a bit of normalcy. Yet Florida has low numbers except for 3 counties where Miami is. Yet we have a LOT of older people....hmmmm....

@@caelso08 Here in the Philippines, the enhanced community quarantine really helped us to slow the spread of SARS-CoV-2 & bought us some time to prepare esp. in the high-density areas in the Luzon island & other major cities in the country. The peculiar thing about Philippines is this -- we had a natural calamity in Luzon with Mt. Taal explosion in January. At that time, face masks are already in limited supply. And the government is already under stress due to the unpredictability of the volcano. Good thing the volcano calmed down beginning February. Then here comes COVID19. And we registered the first COVID19-related death outside of China. The truth is this -- we Filipinos are not properly prepared for this pandemic. And the quarantine helped us to equip ourselves with our needs esp. the locally-developed rt-PCR-based test kits for en masse testing. At the moment, we are now gradually lifting quarantine restrictions so that more workers can return to their jobs & I think our country is now better prepared to face the next waves to come.

@@yengsabio5315 Canada and in the french region. for your information, we have the highest cases number among North America (higher than the average USA) when adjusted per population and virus time spread. Yet, based on google analytics, we are the region/state that was the quickest and most disciplined to follow the mesures among all North America (you can search it on google). We are not that worried since our retail stores opened, our primary schools will open next week and progressively well reopen all our territory sequentially before the end of the month (that's the plan but as we know it might change). When we look at data we realise that there are 2 epidemics, as our provincial government tells us. There is one concentrated in Elderly centres and one in general population. As you can guess, it's our Elderly centres that increase our statistics. But over that, it's the human tragedy that is happening right now under our eyes that breaks my heart. Nurses and employes are understaffed (we still miss 11 000 employees since some are in quarantine and other dont want to go back since it's hell on earth). We isolated all our Elderly centres way to late, we didn't allow families to visit healthy and sick Elders and we didn't treat this with human dignity (my personnal opinion). By putting everyone in lock down we did not protect the vulnerable enough and we harmed many healthy citizens. I understand that lockdown might have helped to prevent our health system meltdown, but we did not prepare adequately the real battlefield. Stay safe and strong !

@Paul Fay. Agreed Paula but this seems to have fallen on deaf ears, as the UK government have extended the lockdown 3 more weeks. If what Dr Katz says about myopically focusing on "flattening the curve" is true, then all the government has done is set up the UK for a second wave of infections come the winter flu season. Meanwhile, our economy is most likely wrecked (and will most likely remain so for quite some time), and the fallout from that is going to make the C-19 scare look like the common cold.

In the UK around christmas time and into January many people came down with the exact symptoms in my area, my partner included, I was obviously around her the whole time she was coughing loads, she said at the time she's never had a virus like this, after day or so of fever and a week of a nasty cough it went, wasn't a cold or a flu. I came down with something towards the end of her illness, thought i was getting a cold but it didn't amount to anything, just felt bit rubbish first a few days, btw we both worked in large colleges surrounded by students exposed to all the normal illnesses. What's scary is in the UK so many people are sheep, phone zombies, running with whatever msm, the herd and "celebrities" do or say, no thoughts of their own. A large amount of people here are begging for tougher restrictions which I find mad, so willing to give up their rights. In uk we nearly went with what Sweden are doing. That didn't last long, our government seemed to be peer pressured into lockdowns, probably scared if it went wrong and people wouldn't vote for them again. I'm in my late 30s and people i know are acting like this is the plague, their scared and stressed out hiding in their homes, which we all know isn't good for your immune system. Why aren't we carrying on but being thoughtful about it and putting in measures to protecting the vulnerable.

Burt, we seem to have a lot in common. I'm from the UK too and believe I came down with the virus in mid December just before the week of Christmas. It started off as a really strange sore throat which lasted for about 5-7 days. I thought to myself great it ain't gonna get any worse than this then bam the next morning it hit me hard. High fever, body aches and a pretty bad cough. The body aches lasted for a few days before completely subsiding although I had the cough for weeks after. Full recovery for me was just under 4 weeks. Never experienced anything like it previously. During this time I also passed it on to my wife who is hardly ever sick and also had to take a few days off work but recovered a lot quicker than me. I too work for a college which has a commercial gym open to the public which attracts a lot of international students. I was quite disappointed we didn't go the route of herd immunity like Sweden but like you said government were pressured to follow every other nation with lockdown. Same here late 30s and everyone around me seems to be crapping themselves. I keep on reminding them if they remembered the SARS outbreak in 2002? There was no social distancing or lockdown and everything turned out just fine. The way things are going I've got no confidence in the government with getting the nation back on its feet.

@@GenkiStarLeaf wow! yeah very similar. I know mate, I'm more worried about what happens after all this too, I think it will last longer doing lockdowns too. Don't want to get all tin foil hat but it's hard not to. You look at the ages of the people who have died from this in the UK via the bbc and the stats look in our favour, as of the 15th April less than a 1000 people under 60 died when we are at well over 10,000 total, they even state half are from care homes, you look at flu deaths stats and they vari every year with some years being 10,000 or so more than the previous etc. No media hype maddness then. Yes I get what you mean about 2002, I remember they said it effected younger people more too (or was that swine flu?), you would of thought that woukd of worried people more. I have never had a flu vaccine and never had proper flu. Had all the vaccines for mumps and the rest when a kid but don't want some rushed vaccine cz of this. My sister had a flu jab last year and she said to me she regretted it and ended up with tonsillitis and a cold at the same time shortly after.

I don't have food that makes me fat. Mostly we are thirsty when the stomach signals hunger. Try drinking a glas of water (without bubbles which stores fat in our cells). Mostly hunger is gone. Eat around 5 small meals over the day. Oat is best for breakfast, later fruit, dades, figs, one small yoghurt (also full fat as body needs fat to accumulate certain vitamins etc.), one main meal which can also be a large mixed salad, an avocado, carrot and maybe one baked potatoe.with spinach and SOME crumbled feta cheese. No salty chips nor pizza. A bagel = 8 sugar cubes. Bread in general unhealthy but unfortunately cheap. Toast 2 slices of a sweet potatoe, use a weak avocado as butter, add an egg top it with second toasted slice and eat a healthy sandwich .

Dr. Katz was speaking specifically about the metabolic effects of DIET when he said you could get rapid improvements in a short period of time. Go to the Zone Diet website (zonediet.com); this is a well-researched, carefully designed, thoroughly tested life-long diet developed by medical researcher Barry Sears. You can ignore the Zone Diet "convenience foods" (breakfast bars, shakes, etc.) if you wish -- they were developed only to make the ZD easier for people "too busy to cook" -- and do the ZD using fresh or frozen produce, meats, fish, etc. from your local supermarket or health food store. Many people will feel a difference the first whole day they eat according to Zone Diet principles, and will experience dramatic changes over the first three to four weeks. (Be sure to follow the instruction to eliminate "unfavorable" carbohydrates during this initial period.) Sears also encourages exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle, and if you look around on the web (perhaps even on the ZD website), you can find plenty of muscle-building exercises that can be done at home without equipment.

I am in a risk group because of my age, 72, otherwise healthy. From the outset I have been watching the numbers, as far as they are available, and been scratching my head as to why there is so much hysteria about this disease, apart from the fact that health services everywhere are always cut to the bone. The last part of this report was especially to the point, the fact that the SAD, Standard American Diet, kills people at a much greater and expensive way. I just binge watched 'Breaking Bad' and despite there being many meal scenes, none of them looked healthy. I'm sure that even the barbecues were using barbecue sauce, 20% + sugar content.... etc ...

I am 65, parents are in late 80s, one has COPD. I also watched the stats, checked out real virus experts NOT on mainstream, and knew we were being panicmongered for nefarious reasons by our sociopaths in power for decades. As we watch their actions, we see what they want - the trillions in a bailout, for starters. Rushing a vaccine through for billions of dollars to the profiteers is another goal. Meanwhile, our "rulers" and oppressive oligarchs are flying to places, visiting wherever, not wearing masks, going to the gym, etc, so their actions also tell us that THEY do not believe their own panicmongering!

Also in the commentators age range and have never seen anything like this worldwide propaganda in lifetime! While almost everyone is freaking out, the most massive bailouts are occurring, STOCK VALUES ARE INCREASING AT THIS TIME, without people purchasing their products! How is that even possible? It makes one think that different levels of the ELITE are warring against each other! Why? Only a few Elites are vying for complete power control and not wanting to share their power control. Hopefully the ELITE eating each other will publicly be seen real soon! Because the real truths about COVID-19 are becoming a reality, and people are beginning to take their rights and freedoms into consideration!

Guess what? No man is an island. We’re all connected. That’s the POINT of social distancing - infection and death rates will NOT go down if you lunatics just wander around shouting about liberty. We really need to push the Government to help the most vulnerable at this time. Ontario Works pays monthly $735.00, Ontario Disability Support Program pays monthly $1169.00. We need to stop shaming these people and give them at least enough to make ends meet. The average 1 bedroom unit in Ontario is $1400.00. This leaves a person forced to use credit, and this is not allowed under the current program. Canada needs a Universal Basic Income program NOW and not CERB as it is very flawed .

The actual data suggests that deaths due too other causes than COVID19 are very low at this time. Even flu and pneumonia deaths in Florida which spiked dangerously in January (before they tested for Sars2)are very low now. In other words, patients would would have died of flu, pneumonia heart disease, diabetes and cancer are now dying of COVID19 in perhaps higher numbers in a narrower time frame. And actual 'causes of death' as determined by an autopsy by a fully qualified pathologist- normally only performed in American hospitals in 8% of patients who die - can hardly have increased at this juncture. It's easy for a Doctor to write up a death certificate citing COVID19 as the cause (they insist not surprisingly that limited number of tests should reserved for sick patients even though there is no tried and true treatment for COVID19), especially when a closer examination might reveal that it was their own treatment of the patient that might have done it- like improper of ventilation, over-sedation, bacterial infections endemic to hospitals- or just the diseases which commonly kill the same patients which in their later stages which Doctors can really only provide palliative care or heroic measures insisted upon by relatives. So yes, the way this pandemic is being reported induces a considerable degree of misdirected fear and panic.

The federal government is instructing doctors to list COVID-19 as the cause of death regardless of co-morbidities, and even in cases where no COVID-19 testing was done and the doctor merely "believes" the patient has COVID-19. The directive to count "dang near everything" as a COVID-19 death is coming from the top levels of the western medical establishment...

The hydroxychloroquine plus zinc method seems more than gospel and quinine is the natural predecessor of hydroxychloroquine which can be consumed every day (or just drink Tonic Water). Both is cheap to buy so far and better get it before people finding out.

I have a question about the very idea of testing. If the virus has not been properly isolated and cultured in some manner, then we do not really know what we are testing, so I don't believe that any test is valid. Indeed we hear about an accuracy rate of 60%, well, what's that based on if we don't truly have a gold standard to test against? And 60% is very nearly just 50/50, i.e. guesswork. And I would also very much appreciate a comment on Dr Andrew Kaufman's comments about viruses being identical to exosomes, i.e. cellular products of proper cleansing processes.

15:05 "Hospitals are short on beds, and this doesn't happen during a bad flu season". In the UK this is not the case. As has been confirmed in one of the UK's daily briefings, hospitals hit capacity every few years due to a bad wave of the flu. Regardless, based on the models, we built a new hospital in London (the Nightingale) with a 2,900 bed capacity. Over the Easter weekend, 19 of those beds were occupied. This wasn't because our other hospitals had reached capacity though (most hospitals had between 40% and 20% capacity left). The problem we face (faced?) here in the UK was an absence of doctors and healthcare professionals - a significant percentage had self-isolated. Considering we are bombarded on a daily basis with horrific stories of front-line healthcare workers dropping like flies from COVID-19, I wouldn't be surprised if doctors/nurses were simply too scared to go to work.
