I m going to visit it for studying in Perth college uhi for about 6 weeks... I will be thankful if any one advice me with a place to stay which is close to the college so i can walk to?

I think we are all guilty of taking things for granted when they are on your door step. It's only when it's gone that you realise and miss it. Lovely city, we loved Scotland. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it 👍

Apart from the mighty Tay and a few historic buildings Perth is very much a run of the mill Scottish/British city. Perthshire County by contrast is lovely.

Perth is let down by it's council, who seem to hold the city back. The city centre nowadays is dying a slow death.

Begs the question why did the council waste so much money on the Christmas switch on when perth has very little to offer Christmas shoppers unless of course you need your hair done or your nails. Also fireworks that contribute to global warming and air pollution not forgetting the effect it has on domestic and wild animals. Definitely a council not fit for purpose.
