The Australian city of Perth suburban trains have gone through a lot of changes over the years including electrification and new lines , here are some shots of this system taken in 2022

Those freeway shots of the train running up the middle are amazing..Perth got some heavy traffic happening

The B series look very similar and sound almost exactly the same as the IMU 160 and SMU 260s in Queensland

Unusual to see a train going faster than cars in Australia.

@@johnphillips592 I got to ride the Joondalup line the other day. I was a bit disappointed to find that it stayed at about 110km/h mostly, though reached 130km/h between Joondalup and Butler. It would be nice to see at least 160km/h routinely operating in Australia. Oh well, this is a commuter line after all.

Victoria's V/Line Velocity trains run at 160 kph on some lines .@@sylviaelse5086

@@johnphillips592 Yes. And there are even a few kilometres in NSW where the XPT does 160. I think that's about it, though.

The Tilt train in Queensland also reaches 160 km on some parts as well @@sylviaelse5086
