@@GrantMenner Mandurah is stunning, the Peel Inlet which is 2.5 times the size of Sydney Harbour and Lake Clifton with the Theombolites are amazing, an early start when the water is like glass and mirrors the sky, you can't beat it and while there have breakfast at Bouvard Winery with bird song and take home a couple of good bottles ❤️

Freshwater Bay, Sunrise heritage precinct, Blackwater reach cliffs, bicton baths, national and Hovea Falls in winter, Mount Henry bridge pedestrian walkway and reserve, Heathcote reserve and chidley Beach, bishop's road reserve Dalkeith, Point resolution reserve, rocky pools Kalamunda, Greenmount Lookout, melon Hill Swanbourne and lastly Riverton Bridge Park which is amazing for sunrises. Whilst a couple of those spots I’ve slightly covered they sound like they could be standalone videos after what you have said. Perth is a great place to visit. It is a quieter city compared to Sydney. Loved my visits to Sydney.. but it is always great to call Perth home.

Oh sorry to hear your visit to Perth was for a family funeral.. that would have been very hard.. hope you were able to still enjoy some of your time here. And I’m sure was still nice to see your brother and sister even under the circumstances. You must have noticed quite a few changes around Perth since your trips in the 80s and 90s.

Last time I walked around the CBD was three years ago and I can see in the video there are new additions I have yet to explore. Who knows when I will be back to see them.

Can't complain much about the weather here since i live in a tropical island :D And as you might have heard lately, portugal hasn't been dealing well with the second wave of covid, but we're hoping for the best, glad you've been dealing well with it! The main reason i thought about moving is simply for the jobs/growth opportunities. Portugal isn't the best for professional and personal growth. Most of the youth study here (education is cheap and acessible for everyone) and eventually go to other countries. I've subscribed and i'll be checking more videos for sure!

Perth is a beautiful city and its probably due to the fact that we are one of the most isolated cities in the world, that has kept us safer from Covid. Guess we're dealing with it day by day. Didn't know about Melbourne, had this idea that the whole continent was doing well, but everything will be alright, hope it's under control 🤞I studied design, currently working a random job a thinking about a masters or maybe a sudden life chance ahah. @@EuSouPrimoDele yes the whole continent of Australia has gone back to dealing with Covid well now. It’s mainly just international arrivals now that go into quarantine that may be positive to Covid. oh wow.. design would be an amazing field to study. You could give me tips on interior design for my house. Haha.. Unfortunately I haven’t been to Portugal yet, but had a friend of a friend who was from Portugal and he always make it sound very beautiful. Tommy is cute. We have a cat too, Puska is his name.. and some fish, we have a big salt water aquarium with lots of live coral.. very hard to look after, the coral is so fussy with needing perfect water and light conditions.. I used to have a dog, but he passed away a few years ago.. hopeful to get another puppy now that we have a new house.

Grant Menner i was born in Malaysia...then moved to Perth in Year 10 n practically grew up n lived there for almost 9 years..then i moved to the UK n back to Malaysia for good..Perth is still home to me as we still have our house there..thats why i kept coming back every now n then...☺️😃..cheers for the vid, glad that Perth wasnt as bad as Melb for the Covid...our side is slowly getting better..cheers mate✌🏻👌🏻😉 stay safe..

Hey Joshua, where are you from? Hope to get to visit Perth too. Jobs are around, but a bit harder at the moment after COVID.. Whilst we have been very lucky in Perth keeping the pandemic out, people have still lost jobs. I love some nice quiet places too. How long do you have left of your study?

Thanks Lisa. Yes, it is a little fast.. I didn’t really think about prope watching and maybe north knowing the landmarks around Perth. I have been meaning to do an update video to this, that is much slower paced.

Thanks Larry, yes there was a few Timelapses in this and I did edit it differently to the faster pace of the music. I forgot at the time of editing that a lot of people watching may not be familiar with Perth and the areas I featured. Most of my other videos on the channel are a bit slower. Thanks Gerard, yes agree the video is rather fast paced.. I was thinking at the time (as I knew all the places) that longer shots would bore people. But when you haven’t been to Perth and seen whats in the video, longer shots would have been better. I will have to try make some more vids slowed down a little to show off Perth more.
