Wow this is a throwback! Only two lanes south of Leach Highway and the Freeway ends at Safety Bay Road.

Yeah. It is a common misconception that Perth is a city in Australia. In actual fact Perth and Australia share a heavily fortified border. Very few have crossed and lived to tell the tale.

I sure as hell do not miss having to do that trip everyday. Ahh the joys of now working in Mandurah not Perth. Great Video though.

The video is a bit boring once you leave Perth but the soundtrack is great. good choice. We were in Mandurah at Port Sails villas. Just fantastic.

It's now 2023 and the only major differences going through mandurah is the big roundabout that's in front of the now bunnings and of course singleton and Lakelands now have shopping centres off to the side.

Cool video, looks like you live somewhere in Erskine, I am across the inlet in Mariner's Cove. How did you make this video? What kind of camera did you use?

This was a webcam with the base stuffed into the passenger visor gap attached to a laptop powered off an inverter, with a program that would take a shot every few seconds. Way before dashcams were a thing...

There were no Transperth trains in the freeway at the time

There was trains in 2007 because the Mandurah line was open in that time.
