Pala Karuppaiah has given super comments. He has also made some feference about Rajaji. Number one he introduced prohibition in Tamiĺnadu in 1937 which was in vague until this DMK came to power. And that in 1972 when DMK leader Karunanithi wanted to lift prohibition Rajaji on a rainy day went to Karunanithi's house only to dissuade him from this unholy act which however was ignored by the DMK ĺeader. Pala Karuppiah also said that once in 500 years a person of Rajaji's status emerge. It is to be remembered that Rajaji was instrumental in making DMK coming to power. And so there is no gratis. I may be wrong but still I think that a man òf his status who was the chief minister of then Madras, Prime minister of undivided Madras, Governor of West Bengal then, and the only Indian Governor General of India should not have ventured on this attempt as after all neither he or any of the members of his family could get any benefit from this. But what to do .He thought the well fare of the people mostly down trodden but people who want to enjoy at the expense of others will never listen to any sane advice.
