Few days away in the Victorian High Country near Mansfield in the Howqua Hills.
We had planned to do a lot more in this trip however Ell became unwell so we decided to come home early.
If you're after a few days away in the High Country, particularly with your dogs, Sheepyard Flat and the Howqua Hills area is ideal. A spacious pet friendly campground with drop toilets right on the Howqua River. Lots of things to see and do in close proximity including the iconic Craigs Hut. We had planned to include Craigs Hut and Bindaree Falls in this video but unfortunately didn't get to them as we had to call our trip early. We've taken our two snags to these spots once before and we highly recommend them.

Haha thanks mate! Still learning! 16 Mile Jeep Track is so fun, it's an easy track, mostly 3rd gear low range, some spots 2nd and the odd rocky part 1st. That swimming hole is awesome though. You'll definitely have to do it next time 👍🏼

Top vid guys with them pies do you cook them in the packet? Will have to give them a go in my oven

Thanks heaps Matt. Yep cook them in the packet, I find they cook best when I sit them in a little oven tray on the bottom rack, I do the same for chicken tenders too and they cook great 👍🏼 you'll have to let us know how you go with them. Cheers, Joss + Ell

Don’t need to air down for the drive along Howqua Trail between Mt Bulleen Rd and Sheepyard Flat.

You probably don’t need to but it always makes the drive a bit nicer. The previous time we went it was a bit rough so thought we’d air down a bit for a bit more comfort.

Those parrots around sheepyard flat are diseased and I've known a few people to get real crook after being in contact with them

Yeah right that's not good at all, luckily we didn't get crook from them. Will note for next time though 👍🏼

Thank you! We haven't really come into contact with any others and I don't think they noticed that snake so not sure how they'd react if they did. We wouldn't let them get close to it just in case.
