Ruffwear slimmed down the Front Range Harness this year 2020 !! It is awesome!!!

Well done you have reviewed these products in a thorough and fair way. I was impressed at how you were able to highlight both good points and the not so good points . I own the Hurrta harness for my Staffy who is broad chested - it is a light harness but my dog is between sizes and find it is not an ideal fit - the T strap is too large and gapes but the chest strap is a little too small so there is no room for adjustment. Also I do not like the way the non padded strap under the belly chafes his skin. Having seen your review on the Fleece Harness I may have a look at that. Comfort is of prime importance.

Great review! Thorough, informative and pleasant video. No long drawn out boring intro either. She seemed like she’d really thought about presentation beforehand instead of just winging it. I found it to be Very helpful for choosing a harness (I’m sold on RuffWear ) And The woman is confident and relaxed. (No “uhhh”s or stumbling for words like I see on so many videos) This is how videos should be made. ( No cringeworthy moments, shaky movement or crappy irritating music )Beautiful Australian Shepherd. I wish my dogs would play so happily on their own that long! So funny. I want to know what that blue toy he played with for the first half of the video is!

Great video! I actually was thinking about getting the Ruffwear Front Range Harness for hiking where I want my dog to help pull me up steep inclines. I think the durability and width of the harness will help disperse the forces/pressure nicely across her chest. Thanks!

Most Hurtta products have very good reflectors simply because in Finland, where the brand originates, we have long dark season. In winter sun is up only couple of hours per day at the worst and darker season lasts for more than half of the year. The reflectors are somewhat useful in here. ;P

My preference for my White Swiss Shepherd is Hurtta, because it's not that built-up, and it doesn't give him additional heat on hot days.

I love this video! I've two french bulldogs and they have broader chest and it's a pain to find a harness that fits them... When the neck and girth fits, chest doesn't. So unadjustable harness mostly doesn't work. I order all my harnesses online from overseas as I'm living in Malaysia and not much choices over here. So trying before buying is not an option. I've tried so many brands and so far the comfortflex is the one I'm using. I'm interested in this Ruffwear front range harness but when I look around for reviews I realized a common problem, nylon webbing broke off at the D ring area, and some in the chest strap (Amazon reviews with pictures) Maybe they have not use a very tough nylon strap. I've tried Ezydog quick fit harness and it's not bad but the chest strap is connected with velcro! Can you believe that? My elder bulldog pulls a lot and it just worries me too much it'll loosen during walks. I'd love to see a comparison between comfortflex and the ruffwear harness.

The only thing stopping me from the Hurtta Padded Y Harness is the lack of two buckles! It's such a hassle to have to lift up their leg every time.

Hi, I have a 45lb boxer/border collie mix who has a 27 in girth which is in between the small and medium Ruffwear Front Range Harness. You said to choose the bigger size if you're unsure but I wanted to ask if the medium still fit snuggly on your dog and what her girth size was when you ordered the harness??

Hello! I have a 10 month old Siberian Husky who pulls like a train. I've been working on training consistently but results are slow. Could you recommend front clip harnesses for walking purposes?

Would either it work for French Bulldog?

May 2019 I would like to see you put each harness on your dog. Or, better, borrow a dog with the shortest fur possible. How about a 'chug' or terrier mix with a Chiuaua? That would be very helpful to see you putting each harness on a dog that hates to have any harness put on. That way I could see which one is the most acceptable to the picky dog. Once he gets walking he's fine with the harness. It is putting it on which is the problem. 'Just Like A Breeze' is difficult to remember. How about 'Dog Halters and Similar Topics'? Any name that starts with dogs.

I have the original fleece harness best I’ve ever had. Ruffwear made my dog choke while pulling. You really look on the ruffwear it sort of sits up toward the dogs neck rather than the fleece it sits nice and low off the trachea.

I represent a new manufacturer of a pet bed/carrier - do you review new product if we send a sample? It is geared towards dogs under 15 lbs.

I really like your review except that you have an unfair review, you use ruff wears BODY harness compared to Y harnesses, if you had used hurttas active BODY harness and "chai's perfect BODY harness" you would have a had a fair comparison Apples and oranges is what you're comparing here or two different reviews!!!!!
