That was pretty cool at around 13:30 or so left side pushed the bowl over to right side racoon. Cheeto was on the right? Also, yes! Very excellent supervisors!!! I still hope Tito will return...

@@Meisho123 yes they chew things climb things you don't want them to and if you don't give shots they could get very sick and may die also they can carry rabies so you need a rabies shot and keep it updated and if you don't get a male racoon fixed they can become mean during breeding season but if you think you can devote the time for one it may work out also make sure they are legal in the state where you live

@@lisaday811 I can definitely do this! I learned so much when I had my chinchilla so if it's just that on a bigger scale I'm sure I can devote my time and all my love to them. I'm really obbessed with them. I need to look in to more medical side of them so I have a better round knowledge of them and what they're mostly prone too. We can keep raccoons in the uk but you need to be a rescue / sanctuary. So in the future me and my husband are working on that. 💜

what really caught my eye here was Piper’s tail when she was on the counter and Cheeto was sniffing around. I’ve never seen that kind of tail twitching in my guys (who are wild) and wonder if this is something she picked up from the cats (????) or perhaps unique to domesticated raccoons as another way to communicate? 🤔

They have a lot of behaviors similar to cats. They will arch up and swish tails in defense... and hiss

I had one back in the 80’s that would lay on the back of the couch and look out our big picture window and wait till my dad would come home from work. She could tell his car from the others going by and would wag her tail when she saw his car till he pulled in the driveway. Then she would waddle over to our back door and wait for him to come in. One of my adult 8 year old males wags his when I bring him his food. I’ve also seen them do it right before they fight each other so I think it means something different to each one

Piper judging Cheeto for checking the bowls for snacks was so hilarious. She clearly is like " Im dad's lil princess and I dont like boys.. eeww boys. stupid creatures. " -_-' " Meanwhile Cheeto is like " Yay. Candy and snacks I love my life.. hello who are u? U want candy oki I eat noms.. :3"

This video is so sad cheto is just super excited to finally have a new friend to play with but Piper is absolutely terrified. I guess it makes sense since he's at least played with another raccoon before and she hasn't

She's so Beautiful.I raised a female which I bottle fed (Cheatia) for 21/2 years.She had access to outside and I loved every minute with her.I had alot of damage over the years but didn't mind.Your so great with them.

Hi Mitchell & Sarah. 👋 The first 2 times for Tito & the other raccoon and Tito & Cheeto met on neutral ground? Maybe that makes a difference? Anyway, good to see all is well. I missed your pup. I forget it's name. Sorry. ☹️ I suppose that would be just too much going on. On another note, Sarah I love your vine starters! ♥️ I enjoy indoor plants. I have some in most rooms. I would enjoy those. Sweet potato vines, are always nice to start. I have some of those Pothos vines. However, they are not good for pets to munch on so they are hanging in baskets. ✌️

Our female was very aggressive and I raised her from just a day or two old... We had her 3 years and she escaped. We have seen her a few times each year for the last two years. I know its her because when i see her she comes in or dog pen and she will turn and look at me when I call her name.... She did come home for a month once when she was sick but as soon as she was well she went back on her own. This year she came home with two babies

What state is this, I read up on owning raccoons they said most vets won’t see raccoons because they are considered wild not domestic?

There is something alluring about raccoons. I find them to be fascinating animals. When they flick their tail with purpose and arch their back they are not happy campers. A juvenile raccoon will bully an adult every time. They just let them get away with it. Cheeto and the cat look like pretty good buds.

Yep my wild babies have picked fights with mothers of other litters. I don’t let them fight though I distract with food and firm scolding
