Take the slang, nothing wrong with getting old slang translated into something more relevant by someone of a younger generation. If you listen to their track "Golf" it's proof - there's absolutely no way a youngster of today is gonna be able to talk about the 80s and 90s UK scene like they do. No way a ghost writer is gonna write each of their backstory which is what the track is about, how would a ghost writer know the truth about them and what they've done? Especially since it seems like Pete (if not also Bas) is a legit old-school London gangster - those old boys you'll basically never hear the stories of their exploits cos they actually knew how to keep their mouths shut. At the end of the day they're still amazing and everyone needs help from someone at some point in their life. Ain't no such thing as a self-made man, everyone stands on the shoulders of others.

Older people aren't treated any differently here than anywhere else, I've lived in both Devon and currently in U.S. In fact, ageism is the most prominent form of discrimination in all age groups in U.K. I've personally seen people talk mad shit about the elderly over there lmao. It's so bad 1 in 3 people hear it all the time. Whenever people talk about aging or the elderly over there it almost always has a negative tone to it. Don't know what you're talking about lol.
