szymusiek1980 He was obviously SO wrong...the fact that he thought he looked better this way over his natural look was either delusional, bad taste in aesthetic or both. The fact he said he was "happy" with the way he looked made me cringe but at the same time, if he truly loved the way he looked then I find no need to feel sorry for him if he got what he wanted. I mean, that was HIS aesthetic. People should have free will to do whatever they please, as long as it's not harmful to themselves or anyone else. At least Pete passed looking the way he envisioned himself but at a literal, deathly cost.

I actually don't think she even looks that nice. You can see she's had work done and it looks unnatural and odd. What these people don't take into account too is how they treat their bodies which affects their looks - smoking, drinking excessively, poor diets, it all damages the skin and ages them quicker whereas if they looked after themselves better, they wouldn't need this surgery.

Absolutely agree. He had health complications with his organs due to his surgeries and not to go into detail but yes, I think he would still be alive if he never had these botched procedures and then the procedures to try and correct them. I read he had 200 surgeries to correct problems. One per week at a certain point. He was a gorgeous person and it's a shame he felt the need to do this to himself. He would have lived a long life if he'd just left himself alone...And as far as the so called doctors who botched him, they just had no conscience.

Gerardine Cizmar I know, truth is we don't know who Pete was around, nor will we ever know what they were like but we definitely do know (as you said), those surgeons didn't have the conscience or seemed good at their profession since the procedures went wrong. The were back street surgeons and all they saw when the saw Pete was dollar signs. Had they've been a REAL medical practitioner, they would refuse to do any more procedures and advise help instead of encouraging the damage. These surgeons didn't have his best interest at heart.

If you read up on pete he didn't set out to look this way, the surgeon injected his face with a solution which his body had a reaction to and developed antibodies to destroy it and it began eating away at his face. Resulting in him going through loads of reconstructive surgery to save most of his face from amputation, so the results now are from the 100s of prosejures done to keep his face basically.

There is an irony regarding plastic/cosmetic surgery that I think is lost on some of us. People have these procedures thinking they want to look better. What actually happens is that everyone starts to look the same. So the irony? You look average not better. If you make your nose smaller it’s because you don’t want to stand out. It’s about blending in. Becoming average. I understand why you might feel the need to do this. And I don’t necessarily disapprove. However we need to accept that this is often a surgical solution to a psychological problem and it is being exploited by the industry. What Pete Burns did to his face was something completely different and was often discussed out of context as it was here.

Pete already had done surgery in the 80's , doctor messed up one surgery and that why he ended up looking like that he had to do surgery to save his face it almost got amputated
