Tribute to William Peter Ham, which took his life on this day, 49 years ago, after Badfinger's manager Stan Polley robbed them, and a conflict with Warner Bros.
I don't own the rights to this song neither its image. I don't own this content, neither have the rights to represent Badfinger in any kind of circunstance, i'm not even affiliated/associated with the band in any sort of situation, i'm just a guy. In order to support the official release, check their Spotify, Facebook and by purchasing their releases. Their links will be available in the comment section, so check it out.

@@kimsullivan5576 Unfortunately, a genius that never got recognized the way he deserved. Last week i've hearded 'Magic Christian Music' and 'No Dice' with one friend, he said Pete was good, but not a genius, he also said that Pete was a weird person and also made jokes about him. It's sad and frustrating, because it's almost like people don't know how difficult it was to master the art of music like Pete did, and how much troubles he had to face against. Pete was a strong man just like Tommy, they both are jamming in heaven with Mike, John Lennon and George Harrison. About his songwriting ability i can even say he was in pair with Sir. Paul McCartney's songwriting ability. Maybe, after my friend takes a listen to Straight Up, he'll start to understand why Pete was a genius. Also, about his personality, Bob Jackson described him as a lovely person, which fits him perfectly. I think Pete was a strong person, who fighted against his troubles, and always had a way to keep himself optimistic. Maybe, if we all knew about this situation from the start, we could've helped him.

@@cavaleiro747 I agree with you, totally. He was a genius with an open heart. I wished that he could have given himself a few breaks without his sorrow. Yes, there's a Rock and Roll Heaven up there, jamming away. Wouldn't it be awesome to get a few glances at that gig? I hope he's up there, smiling down on us. I hope that your friend will listen to Straight Up, once or twice. I was blown away by We're For The Dark. ☮️

@@kimsullivan5576 Indeed, and it is probably the best jam ever. Thanks for your words, it's beautiful to think like that. Thank you for posting. This is a gift for us Badfinger fans. As a foot note to the second management contract prior to the Warner contract, the band was advised not to resign with Polley,. It’s unknown what pressure was put on the band to sign, but the long term saw the negative end results. The entertainment business is a double edged sword, sometimes extremely good or absolutely awful. In the case of Badfinger they had so much to offer. If Pete and Tom were still alive, Badfinger could have easily gone on for another 5 to 10 years.

It took me a lot to find the Variety Pack (Where i'm still thinking if i upload everything and take the risk of receiving a strike by Ron Griffiths, or if i wait to see if he changes his idea about the uploading of Badfinger's content [It may be a bit weird, but some guy said i should be cautious regarding to Badfinger and if my channel is or not famous, because if it gets too much attention, i'm probably gonna be screwed over]). Just explaining: Ron is a good person, but someone must have made him believe that uploads of Unofficial Badfinger Content screws the band (Which is not the case, considering the fact that there's a ton of Badfinger content that is turning slowly into a Lost Media, and we need to preserve it).
