I visited Pete Waterman's Workshop on the 11th and 12th 0f April. Not long to go now unitl the vans are loaded up ready to go to the NEC Model World Live show 2024.
Lots going on as always. I was painting to overhead wires. Aron gets on about installing catenary and overhead wires. Lots of banta and more.

I found a thick square cut permanent maker best for wires

Sounds like a good idea, but does it look realistic? The problem we have is that you can not paint the wires until they're fitted in place because you can not paint them first because they need to be soldered and the solder wouldn't stick.
