Thank you very much for all your help! I am one of those newbies that gets overwhelmed with all the buttons that I don't know how to use and you are always easy to understand and give useful tips. In this video I learned about the existence of the preset "patches"and how to turn off the play head, both super useful. My only question would be, why do you prefer Mono over stereo to record voice and guitars?

Hey there. So, with vocals and guitar when you’re using an audio interface you’re usually plugging in a mono cable to one of the inputs, like an XLR or instrument cable. If you select stereo inputs, it will push all the audio just to the left or right.

Can you do a live on how to mix vocals now that we have the Logic Pro 2 release now? How do you align & tune vocals, etc. and is aligning actually necessary? Or even possible? I really want to start session singing but i only have an iPad & the thing that stops me from just going all in with starting my career using only the iPad is that I feel like I won’t be able to create pro-level recordings due to not having all the mixing tools I need in the iPad Logic app. What is your opinion on this? Since you seem to use it often.

Hey Pete ROLLiE HRMNY here, I’m in a difficult moment in my logic for iPad series. I’m having trouble saving cst vocal presets and there’s nothing out there on the internet that is helpful! Do you have and remedies or ways I can save them and upload them THANK YOU AGAIN

I’ve had that issue with my instruments and vocals switching back to stereo several times.

This might seem like a silly question. Are you able to directly record vocals using the iPads built in microphone and add FX after the fact? It clearly won’t sound as good as using an interface but I’d like to try and play with the free trial before investing

Hi Pete - are you able to track with logic plugins on because your mixer setup enables you to have a kind of direct monitoring setup with ultra low latency?

Yeah sort of. There will still be latency built in if using effects in the software but I e found it pretty low.

Hi Pete, for some reason,e reason when I put monitoring is off, it automatically turns on again for vocal tracks. I desperately need to turn it off. Any suggestions? Much thanks

You should be able to turn it off as long as you’re using an audio interface.
