I wonder if this piece was at all inspired by Waterfall by Jon Schmidt. It is certain a unique song but I get a lot of the same feeling between the 2 compositions. Well done!

Yes, pretty close actually. There is certainly justification for further processing and varying large compositions. I do that sometimes too .
