Honest? He was well known for cheating on his wife repeatedly. I'm a big Peter Falk fan but let's be honest here
@enlightenedsoul42823 жыл бұрын
@@Sciencedgofood really? Gosh... I saw he was an artist & did drawings of women, I did wonder how or where he got inspiration or models maybe for his art cause they were different women in his drawings. Maybe they were of those women, Who knows.. But either way, I'd no idea he cheated.

@@Sciencedgofood Peter Falk was REALLY a decent and honest man. What you are writing about is a lie (believe me, I know it), invented by a DISHONEST author. For such dirt is easy to buy.

Peter, it's so hard to believe that you are no longer with us. You came a long way since your first appearance in Robert Montgomery Presents. You will always be remembered as Columbo, the pesky little detective that just would go away. I enjoyed watching that along with McCloud and McMillan & Wife. Tell Rock Hudson hello and may you now Rest in Eternal Peace with all the other Saints-in-Light.

Watched Columbo many times in the 70's & now have the complete box set. He will be forever remembered for this role as it was a memorable one. Sometimes tho while watching the episodes I forget he is no longer with us. The show ran for 40 years 1968 (pilot ep.) then through to 2003. He was so young in the pilot I was dumbstruck, well naturally he was only 41. I am still watching & are up to Vol.8. Love his dog, he looked loveable & sweet. Columbo should have called him "Sherlock" instead of "Dog".

Peter Falk was just so great; as an actor and as a human being . The first time I saw him was on a TV show: “Dick Powell Presents” i think it was 1963. The show that Peter was in was called: “The Price Of Tomatoes”. It was , at times, or he was, at time, a tad over the top, but ,nevertheless he conveyed the frustrated ,tough guy with the heart of gold and that was what ‘got’ me about Peter Falk. As it turned out, that is exactly who and what he was.

Peter Falk was cute as Columbo. That show ended his marriage to Alyce Mayo who was with him when he was a nobody. Guess the fame went to his head and he felt like a somebody with Shera Danese 20 years his junior. R.I.P. Your daughters loved you very much.
@martinhyizna32998 жыл бұрын
+Ethel Ann Annett He was always a somebody.
@andromedastar49008 жыл бұрын
+Ethel Ann Annett I believe he and Shera truly loved each other...it wasn't "fame going to his head"...sometimes you get married the first time and things just don't work out, you love the person, but they aren't the true love of your life. Also, sometimes age is irrelevant and meaningless, if they had been 2 years apart instead of 22, a lot of these horrible things wouldn't have been said. People calling her a gold-digger and even worse, when the truth is that sometimes two people just fall in love with each other, and that's what I believe happened here, not him getting a big head...he seemed as far from the pompous type as you can get. And I don't believe a word that his daughter said about Shera, sad that so many people believe her, she has an axe to grind and it's sad that she could never accept her father's decision and happiness and wrongly blamed Shera and used her as a scapegoat for her own unhappiness and the anger she felt at her parents splitting. Peter was a smart person he would have known who was right and who was wrong, would not have stood by Shera if she were anything other than a good person who loved him, and everything he did points to the fact that Shera was a kind, caring, and lovely person and spouse.
@NuisanceMan7 жыл бұрын
+Ethel Ann Annett Are you this self-righteous about every man with children who gets a divorce?
@glamdolly306 жыл бұрын
There is definitely something 'off' about his relationship with Shera - it's obvious she moved in on him when she was an unknown actress with a tiny role in Columbo, and he was the big star. Poor loyal Alyce must have always feared this might happen to her marriage one day. I thought Peter Falk had more sense to fall for a woman as hard-faced as this one though - look at her, I wouldn't trust her for one nanosecond. Men can be very naive when their dicks are engaged!

I remember seeing the daughter on an apisode of inside edition or a program like it in the late nineties at the time she wanted to sue her father for not paying for her education and came across very entitled, I'm sure he was embarrassed by her at that time. He always talked very lovingly about his wife, I don't think we know the whole story here, I'm sure his daughter was bitter towards his wife but not sure exactly why. I think both his girls were adopted.
