There are not enough superlatives to describe the immensely talented, winsome and humble Peter Frampton. He has been at this for over five decades and like a fine scotch whiskey or a well made acoustic guitar he has just gotten better and more deeply appreciated with the passing years. His audience has grown over time and matured with him as he has shared his talent and life experiences, both good and bad at a gut and soul level that few performers ever attain. May life, health and happiness be yours, Sir Peter and thank you! You are a blessing.

He frequently does the acoustic version early in his shows, then does the electric version later in the set. Both great, different vibes, very cool.

I like this version with a 335 better than the acoustic guitar. The lead has a cleaner sound than usual and it sounds great. Wonderful 335 woody tone

A lesser known track off a highly popular live album, but one of my favorites. Saw him live around this time and thoroughly enjoyed his performance and the way Peter engaged the crowd with his humor! Bliss!

Actually it's originally off of 1972 Winds of Change a six and a half minute electric monster originally that won the 76 live came out he chopped it up and shortened it into an acoustic little ballad

'72, best track [#7] on the album for me. FYI: At around 7 years old Frampton taught himself to play first his grandmother's banjolele, then the guitar, followed by the piano. At 8 he began taking classical music lessons. By the age of 12, Frampton played in a band called the Little Ravens. At the age of 14, Frampton was playing with a band called the Trubeats followed by a band called the Preachers. In 1969, when Frampton was 18 years old, he joined with Steve Marriott of Small Faces to form Humble Pie. While playing with Humble Pie, Frampton also did session recording with other artists, including: Harry Nilsson, Jerry Lee Lewis, and John Entwistle's Whistle Rymes, in 1972. Pete Drake introduced him to the "talk box" that was to become one of his trademark guitar effects. In my opinion Peter Frampton has been under rated his entire music career.

The drums have a great sound but at 8:52' the organ player seems to wait for the bass drum kick on of the next bar first beat : can it be heard that way or is it the snare dr. instead?
