Perhaps under lock down Freddie would write new songs. Thank God we are hearing about Freddie’s love of Christmas decorating, his generosity and his kindness and not his sex life! Phoebe it’s incredible how you can always get me emotional with your speeches. I was seriously about to cry in the end. Thanks so much for sharing these very precious memories of Freddie with us. You can’t even imagine how much they mean to me. Knowing these tiny details of Freddie’s life really cheers my mood up. And plus i wont ever be thankful enough for having met you this September in Montreux. I still can’t believe I had the chance to meet you and talk with you for a little while. Happy happy Christmas Peter! I have been watching your memoirs and find myself bawling my eyes out in every one. I know you say be happy, and celebrate his wonderful life and legacy and music he has left all of us - but I can't think of Freddie, and the loss of him without succumbing to massive waves of tears and emotions. I was born in 73 and grew up listening to Queen music all of my life. There's some sadness in him that I really can relate to - and that's the part of him that craved somebody to love. I feel like I have been searching - or moreso yearning for that special someone my entire life. I've had relationships but there is never that wonderful connection I crave. I think that's why I get so sad about him - I can understand and feel his pain - yet can wear that Great Pretender mask like he did to hide it. I pray EVERYDAY that I will meet him in heaven and become good friends. (That, and for Covid to end lol :) I know we'd have a ball! Stay safe and healthy Peter xxx
